MLB 2024 Draft

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I was using baseball reference fyi.

Regardless, there's a big disconnect between this board and writers off this board. Condon appears to be #1 for many people. I'm just haply there's 2 big time prospects. If they're tied I'd go sigh the RHH

I just think there's a bigger disconnect to what you want to see and what information is out there.

If they are tied you have to take the more complete LHH

I like both, though. Like I said, I'm just happy it looks like there are two prospects worthy of #1. I just find it odd that I come on here and everyone is absolutely in love with Bazz and off this site it appears most consider Condon a better prospect.

Let's just see... just quickly looking at some lists:
Keith Law: 1. Condon 2. Bazzana
Baseball America: 1. Condon 2. Bazzana
Joe Doyle: 1. Condon 2. Bazzana
Perfect Game: 2. Condon 3. Bazzana
MLB (lol): 3. Bazzana 4. Condon

Everyone's going to have their preferences. They both seem very good. I'd be happy with one of them.

FWIW Doyle updated the list just a few days ago and put Condon above Bazzana.

I don't think it's really looking like "most" consider Condon a better prospect.

I don't believe MLB has updated since the season started.

I think we win either way... Bazzana I feel is more of a sure bet while Condon fits more of a need on paper... Which will they choose?

Watch it'll be Montgomery lol
Hmmm....

A switch hitting OF'er who has spent some time on the mound... great arm.. fast as hell.. with a golden swing (looks very Michael Brantley-esque from the left side & has some Bryce Harper from the right side). Sure, he'll miss a few.. who doesn't???? but.. this is a high end kid with an introspective countenance.. perhaps not a vocal leader, but clearly a leader..

The Guardians could do worse.... a lot worse..

Yes, but you're the one being both rude and citing sources that conflict easy to find information.

Further, if you do want to continue on this message board, understand that some of us have built a community that enjoys healthy discussion where we backup our points and not just make baseless accusations and then try to be the internet tough guy afterwards. If that's how you're going to debate, find a different spot.

Honestly, this isn't even up for debate. He is just incorrect.

Georgia has played 36 games so far this season. Condon's played in all 36 of those games.

He has 25 strikeouts on the season.

13 of those K's happened in 21 non-conference games.
-1 against UNC Asheville on 2/17
-2 against Northern Kentucky on 2/23
-2 against Presbyterian on 2/27
-1 against Georgia Tech on 3/2
-1 against Georgia Tech on 3/3
-1 against Stetson on 3/6
-1 against Northern Colorado on 3/9
-1 against Northern Colorado on 3/10
-2 against Georgia State on 4/2
-1 against Kennesaw State on 4/9

12 of those K's happened in 15 SEC games
-2 against Kentucky on 3/17
-1 against Tennessee on 3/29
-2 against Tennessee on 3/31
-2 against Mississippi State on 4/6
-2 against Mississippi State on 4/7
-2 against Missouri on 4/12
-1 against Missouri on 4/13

Georgia starts at 3-game series tonight against Ole Miss in Athens.

I don't particularly care where he's getting his information, because I'm highly confident his stats are incorrect.
