Exactly. Can't have a closed mind about this stuff and if there are paper trails you can't dismiss it no matter how outlandish it sounds. What the govt. claimed happened on 9/11 didn't happen. Something else happened and anybody with half a brain can figure that out. The problem is figuring out fact from fiction and the powers that be like to withhold key points of info from the American people.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist but did you know that the Pentagon is still holding over 1 million pages of reports that has to do with the Kennedy assassination? You have to ask yourself why that is. We aren't getting all the info so don't be so sure of yourself when you back a govt. that thinks you should be in the dark about everything. This is supposed to be OUR govt. the President works for us.

Its funny how they just NOW released the tape of the plane that hit the pentegon, but they released the SAME exact tape that has been available on the internet ever since the attack and did not release the tape of the survailence from the hotel or the gas station.

They said they are releasing that in 2035. They are trying to put it off so that when they do release it the present generation won't care.

there are procedures for things, and it is to soon to simply release information like that. the first step was releasing those pentagon videos (which sucked) but there are still investigations going on, it isnt over yet.

This is the first i have heard of this but supposedly 7 of the 19 hijackers from 9/11 are still alive. If this is true then what really happened on 9/11 and how did the US govt come up with these people?

What is the point of this thread? What do you mean 7 of the hijackers are alive? Your article was a few days after 9/11 when our country and the world was in turmoil. So they got some of the identities wrong at the time. I'm quite certain the hijackers have long since been identified and are very dead...hopefully getting their skin torn off slowly in hell.
Do some of you actually think our government arranged to have planes fly into the WTC 1&2??? You can't be ****ing serious. I lost a friend one of the towers....he wan't supposed to ****ing be there when the planes hit. I have 2 friends that were involved in the cleanup. They saw bodies. They saw luggage. They saw children. They saw parts of the 767's. It is infuriating to them AND TO ME when ignorant people claim GW did it because they disagree with him politically. If you don't like Bush, that's ****ing fine. There is plenty to criticize without jumping on the bandwagon of the moron's claiming he arranged a demolition of the WTC and a cruise missle into the Pentagon. For a consipiracy of that magnitude there would have to be hundreds if not thousands of people with firsthand knowledge. No one has come forward? Not one single person involved with the conspiracy saw videos of Americans plunging 120 stories to their death and was overcome with guilt and confessed???? Come on people. Open your eyes...there are people in the middle east that want all americans to die. They will make it their mission in life to harm us. In light of the suicide bombings that occur every single day in the middle east, is it really that unreasonable to think that terrorists used planes to kill Americans on 9/11.

I just don't buy that this wasn't partially set up. Not everything is a lie? Well sorry when they claimed to have Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq and come to find there are none It's pretty hard to say oh..it's cool man I still beleive ya.

I'm not trying to disgrace the loved ones and everyone who was lost or effected directly by 9/11 but there is more to it then what America is being served.

Max im sorry for your loss. The only reason I question things like that and believe that something else happened is because of how slow and the lack of interest that the govt seems to have with legitimate questions given to them. That Bin Laden tape where he confesses first of all, the man in the tape looks nothing like him. Right after the attack Bin Laden came out and said he had nothing to do with it I remember getting home turning on the news and hearing the reports myself that Bin Laden put out a message claiming no responsibility and that’s not typical al qaida fashion. I've seen that at least one of the hijackers picture has changed but the picture that they changed to was almost like a stunt double you see in a movie, looked similar but wasn't the same person. Those things could be a whole lot of nothing but what fuels all the speculation is the govt. not answering questions. Bush aside because I believe that this is bigger than Bush the govt. needs to lay everything out on the table and don't say the 9/11 commission report because I have read it and I have listened to people in documentaries that say some of the things don't add up. Not just regular people talking back and forth like you and me but people who specialize in their fields. All that has to be done is have a REAL look at questions posed by the people and I believe that would satisfy most.

See, this is precisely the problem. Your paragraph above is complete misinformation. I'm not saying you made it up, I'm just saying that this is another urban legend that has popped up since 9/11. Someone(like Michael Moore) reads a story, twists it, slants it, adds some innuedno, mixes in some non-factual information and the story grows and spreads and allegedly becomes true..

Let's take a closer look at your paragraph above-

"supposedly the Bid Laden family (not Osama)" - This seems to imply it was his his immediate family, like his wife and kids or something. When in fact, Bin Laden has a MASSIVE family. He has well over 50 siblings, hundreds of cousins and hundreds of neices/nephews. Most of his family is estranged and condemn his profession. None of his brothers/sisters/children were on the flights out.

This implies they jetted into town on the Gulfstream to meet with GDub business partners. In reality, they were 2 dozen people(mostly children) who had been LIVING HERE. In fact they were under immense scrutiny in the 2 years leading up to 9/11 following the embassy bombings in East Africa by al Qaeda. Our government had been monitoring them hoping to get info from them and came to the conclusion that they, like most of his relatives, were estranged.

The Saudi government approached the US and said they wanted to get 150 people(including bin Laden's relatives) out of the country because of the high emotions and they feared retribution against innocent people. The US agreed to let most of the people on the list leave only after day long interviews. The Bin Ladens were intrerviewed, but the FBI knew more about them than the other 140 people on the flights since they had been monitoring them closely for 2 years already. The 150 people left for Suadi Arabia aboard two jumbo jets that left on Sept 18 and 19th after the flight ban was lifted...not on the 11th.

Thanks. The thing that really sucks was he wasn't supposed to be there. He ran a file over to the WTC so he could visit a friend. Next thing you know his wife is getting a phone call from a woman in the tower she doesn't know. The woman said she only had a few seconds. She was in charge of calling family members of people trapped in the offices with her. She said "Your husband has asked me to call you, he is trapped in the WTC. He and others are trying to find a way out and I have been asked to call loved ones with messages. He wants you to know he loves you and the kids more than anything in the world. He's not sure why this is happening, but he's sorry. Tell the kids they can accomplish anything they put their minds too. It's been an honor being your husband. Love you all forever." 7 minutes later the tower he was in fell.


With regards to your questions, the lookalikes, etc. I don't know what you saw so I'm not sure how to respond. I read a good portion of the report as well....not all of it though. All I can say is that there are thousands of conspiracy theories, thousands of websites claiming it was our government, and millions of questions. Our government can't address them all. They have their hands more than full, right or wrong, fighting a war in Iraq and trying to prevent more terrorist attacks. Frankly, they don't have time to answer all the remaining questions. They empanneled a bi-partisan commission to investigate it and come out with an independant report....not sure what else they can do. There are many out their with axes to grind(Michael Moore et al), no matter what our government says these people will always say we are lying.....even if Bin Laden is caught and confesses.

IF there was any chance whatsoever that our governent was in any way involved, don't you think that Hillary, Kennedy, Schumer, etc would be screaming from the rooftops? They wouldn't rest until it was exposed. A conspiracy of such monumental proportions would require extraordinary resources and manpower. In this day and age, it would be impossible to cover up for 5 years without someone spilling he beans. Hell, Clinton couldn't even get a hummer in the oval office without the world getting a play-by-play.

I agree. Most things would be hard to cover up in this day and age. Problem is that the govt. seems so secretive about everything that even false info seems possible when not provided with answers in a timely fashion and when given answers most things aren't answers to the questions asked but things that seem to just shut people up. I watch as many press conferences from the White House as I can handle and when Fleischer as well as McClellan were on there we got no answers. I haven't seen Snow yet so I can't comment on him but overall these people don't answer questions. When you don't answer questions you allow people's imaginations to run wild which is why all of these theories seem so believable. All they have to do is lay all the info out on the table for the American people to see and let them make up their own minds. If it’s the truth then it would poke all kinds of holes in stories from people like Moore.

I hear ya, and I agree to an extent. But I also see the governement's side. The internet and media in general have made the government's job much more difficult. I have no problem if a Dem or Rep administration only gives me limited information....I have confidence that they are working in the public's best interest(maybe that makes me an idiot.LOL). If we tell the public and media everything, the blogs and investigative news types run wild and can interfere with national security, hinder investigations, etc. I am sure that Bin Laden, terror cells, and other hate groups best source of info is CNN. So I can see why the government is hesitant about showing their hand. In the case of 9/11 I think the commission report put most of it out on the table....and i think it satisfied 90% of Americans.
