Moves the Indians should make for the 2nd half

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
No, what the Mets needed was a young Matt Williams. He would have taken Baez out behind Citi Park and explained the way things should be.

Everybody else would have gotten in line.

He did something similar, but not as dramatic, to a much better player than Baez as soon as he joined the Indians, and a month later that player was traded.

The Indians then went to the World Series.

Your original post was there are not veterans on the Mets "to set Lindor straight". No need to continue to move the goal posts

I know many have soured on Lindor since he left after a few comments, myself included, but I think it's outright ridiculous to pin his struggles on a lack of veteran leadership. Also the Mets are what, 6-4 since the whole thumbs down thing? What else has happened this season that Lindor needs "set straight" on?

One of the slight disappointments I have from this season is Bobby Bradley. Not so much on his performance, more about his opportunities.
He had a great ST, but didn't make the team because we wanted to give Jake Bauers another chance. When he got called up he got off to a very encouraging start. Then he got injured.
Since he's been back his opportunities have been sporadic. So I'm not sure if we have a clear picture of his talent yet. To me, he has a decent understanding of the strike zone, but I think he will always have a contact issue. He has surprised me with his defense actually.
But without consistent playing time it's hard to say where we are with him. Is he the future? I have no clue. The Indians gave up too soon on Jesus Aguilar, and he turned out pretty good.
I'd like to see Bobby given the chance to play every day the rest of the way. If he's given the same opportunity Bradley Zimmer was given, we might get similar results.
I'd like to get some answers about Bobby.

Where I'd have no issue seeing B Bradley get every at bat v RHP, and some against LHP, too...based on his minor and ML numbers, and current usage, I feel like the FO has seen enough to know he is really just a place holder until they acquire somebody better (perhaps as soon as this off season). He can field the spot and has fine power, so he is ok for now. If acquisitions ae made in other areas, he will start the 22 season at 1B, but it is hard to see much longevity with him.
He could still surprise (who does not like power and unbuttoned shirts?!?), but it is a long shot.
