I love music for me, music will never die because it has its own life.
The truly great stuff stands the test of time, but even lesser known bands can live for generations when personalized by the individuals. For instance, because I was in high school and then my early 20s when it was big, grunge is still very personal and brings back a ton of memories. I still will never turn off a soundgarden song or Temple of the Dog (Chris Cornell’s voice was insane) when I come across it on the radio.I love music for me, music will never die because it has its own life.

A perfect intro to what I know you've all been waiting for....a cut from King Crimson on their 50th (yeah, that's right) anniversary. Their sound varies widely, and this is an intricate and dark progressive metal instrumental piece.
Also, it is live. No synthesizers, no drum machines...just the absolutely tightest band in the world. Put on headphones/earbuds, whatever, and crank it. First 1:45 is an intro, so skip to there to start the tune.
@The Oi
Bill Bruford is insanely talented. Was lucky i found him in my teens — was a massive influence on my playing.
