Finished Ozark a few minutes ago.
The finale wasn't Dexter finale bad, but woof. That was trash.
Completely agree.....here are my thoughts, spoiler warning.
they definitely didn't stick the landing after a great season. The episode of Ruth going to Chicago was amazing. There was so many ways they could have ended but this seemed so lazy. After building up Ruth and making Wendy so dislikable, it was like the reverse of what they were trying to pay off. Also what the hell was with nothing actually happening from the car crash. So much of the finale felt like they had someone else write it or it was written after season 1 and they had to come back and tie up loose ends after the fact.
To me it was a show that needed a The Shield ending but we got a Game of Thrones ending where it was just rushed, lazy, and unsatisfying.
I'm finishing the last 3 episodes of The Shield and I've never watched it before. But I'm definitely on edge waiting to see how this ride ends.
It's fantastic to have both a new Michael Mann series, and a David Simon series, on HBO.It’s on HBO Max but I really like Tokyo Vice
He's gotta be the best bad guy actor out there right now. He absolutely kills every bad guy rolebut man John Bernthal is just killing it as a crooked cop.
He's so unbelievably charming even while being morally wrong. Those scenes between him and Jaime Hector at the end of the episode were brilliant, amazing TV.He's gotta be the best bad guy actor out there right now. He absolutely kills every bad guy role
I've been watching as well and I agree.I'm enjoying The Offer on Paramount+.
It's a mini-series about the making of The Godfather. I'm not sure if it's a weekly release and I've caught up or of they are doing seasons, and I'm at the end after 4 episodes. Either way, I'm looking forward to the finish. Miles Teller (Whiplash) is the lead and is great in the role. I recommend it.
Am I the only one that found the Targaryens the least interesting family in the show?
