Great show.

I agree on Season 3.

A lot of potential to mine with Tench's son.

I liked the more Holden centric s1 line better but agree that that story line has legs, just not sure it jumped off to where it should have for me.

Really hope the show somehow returns someday

Did you notice the acting in that first episode from Holden to be especially terrible?

Been awhile since I watched- thought the series was great- but I remember being skeptical of the series going forward after that episode.

I thought the bar scene in particular was bad. No chemistry, rough acting, yea

The second one was the best/most captivating, in my opinion, but there wasn't really any new technology present. Didn't seem like Black Mirror

Working my way through them too.

1 was good until they just kept spamming "I'm salma Hayek"
2. Was a slow opening 20 minutes then I liked it.
3. I predicted almost immediately, it takes from a couple other previous episodes

Mazey day was definitely the worst

Demon 79 was pretty good

Kind of strange 3 of the 5 really didn't have any technology tie in, seemed like the integral element to the show.

They're apparently spinning off into "red mirror" which is more horror/supernatural.

That's fine if you want to do that but don't make them part of the black mirror series, just go do that on the side.

I've followed brookers career closely and the one thing he loves to do subvert and genre. The problem black mirror has is it's now a genre in itself. So many shows have taken elements of his ideas into a whole show. I think it's natural that he looks to explore things wider than he has don't previously. I doubt we get a full red mirror series but I wouldnt be surprised if he keeps using it as way to let people know which episodes are based on tech.

I don't even necessarily mind if that's the direction it goes in, as long as the episodes are creative and entertaining.

My Top 2 were the same as yours, although flipped, and each didn't have a technology tie in.
