Report: Deshaun Watson prefers Jets over Dolphins
It's been suggested that Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson wants to play for the Dolphins.profootballtalk.nbcsports.com
Miami has Brian Flores. Actually think that shows some conviction imo, wants to play for a team that is willing to hire a black head coach. As for the Jets, maybe he really like Saleh?
I would prefer Gilmore over Lattimore, just because I don't think having 3 corners who spend copious amounts of time on the IR is a good idea.
Per Pro Football Reference, since Lattimore entered the league in 2017 he has played in 57 regular season games (13, 16, 14, 14) compared to Gilmore’s 56 regular season games (13, 16, 16, 11).
I don’t pay a lot attention to the Saints or Ohio State, so does Lattimore leave games or does he carry an injury designation / play through injuries a lot?

I don't follow the Saints super closely, but from what I understand he has had some nagging injuries that he's played through over the past few years that have affected his performance. His PFF grades reflect this as they've declined each year he's been in the league. That said, PFF isn't perfect by any means. That would be a good problem to have, no?Us getting Lattimore would be great.
He’s a fa after the year and I don’t know how we re-sign him without jettisoning someone good.
I’m not 100% sure we can afford a franchise tag. That would be a good problem to have, no?
There's always the franchise tag if the Browns don't want to commit long-term to Lattimore (or someone else).
Also, depending on how FA plays out in '22, the Browns could let him walk and get a compensatory pick in return, potentially recouping what they gave up to get Lattimore in the first place.
