NFL Playoffs Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
...I can't be the only one who wants Philly to win just for the riot, am I? This is a city that greased the light posts before this past game.

Fuck Philly bro. Their fans are trying to play like they're hurt or have been dying for a winner. They are choke artist.

There wasn't anything like this on display when The Cavs won in 2016. And that was a parade in the summertime against a team that everybody hated. Our fans had every reason to act a god damn fool that day and we didn't. There weren't any signs disrespecting Steph Curry's family or any Warriors fans and if there was I guarantee you that enough Cavs fans would put a stop to it. How does any person let alone a fucking football fan not step on and stop that display by those eagles fans? It's disgraceful.

Listen. I'm in no way happy for NE. I couldn't care less about them or their success. But this ongoing thing with the media trying to portray Philly fans as some sort of underdogs or fanbase who you should feel sorry for is complete bullshit. These aren't cursed sports fans. The fucking Phillies just won a World Series 10 years ago. The 76ers have been in the playoffs more times than not this century and even made the finals once. And lastly The eagles have probably been one of the 10 best franchises in the NFL since 2000. They made 6 straight NFC Championship games and it didn't amount to shit. Poor Eagles fans. And to top it off their fans embrace their label as some sort of mix between being an outright asshole and woe is me. Fuck them. I hope Bill Belicheck runs up the score in The Super Bowl on their ass.

I have seen a couple Twitter videos and that's about it. I pretty much stay away from ESPN and shit unless there is a game on there that I am watching. So, I have/had no idea that the media is mainly portraying them as a fanbase you should feel sorry for.

I definitely do not feel sorry for them & I definitely think the way these people are acting are stupid. However, there were probably hundreds of other joyous videos out there of Phili fans at bars having a cheers, or chants, etc..without disrespecting other fans/women/acting like fools. But with how the media is today, the crazier/idiotic/"fear baiting" things are now-a-days, the more chance it will make mainstream media - and that's fucking stupid.

Moral of the story. Fuck Tom Brady.

It's not enjoyment. It's relief.

From having to deal with all the insufferable Steelers fans that a lot of Browns fans know and interact with on a daily basis.
Do you even sports, bro?

That's overall my thoughts. It's just nice to be able to walk into the supermarket or burger king while not having those assholes gloating about shit.

Fuck Philly bro. Their fans are trying to play like they're hurt or have been dying for a winner. They are choke artist.

I feel legitimately sad for fans like the Vikings, who have had great teams, but like us? Have been let down at the worst moments. (the 1998 Vikings squad should have been in the fucking super bowl...)

But my god, what a bunch of fucking assholes the philly fanbase is.

This also isn't just some random group of fans, it seems to be the norm as well.

I freaking hate the Eagles and the “Dogs” shit they’re doing right now being home dogs.

There’s one dawg pound in the NFL.

Philly can go fuck themselves.

I had some Philly fan throw the "Bottlegate" thing back at me in response to our fans being "just as bad" or some shit.

I don't feel the situations are comparable. What the NFL pulled that day was historic in terms of getting a call "wrong" and the stunt that was being pulled was the cherry on the top of the city of Cleveland being "Rollerballed" since 1995 or so.

I would understand if he would have thrown at us the old antics of the pound, that's reasonable. But there just seems to be an extra level of assholishness that makes me want to see that team fall on it's face.

They remind me of Boston fans. They've had some great teams, great moments...but it's always never good enough. If the Browns had a run like the Reid/McNabb Iggles? Do you think we're mocking 96 year olds who've never seen a title in I don't know...fucking Houston? No. Frankly we'd be to busy getting tanked and partying.

Maybe crowning Wentz was a bit premature? Could be his whole team is kinda good ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Could be that people are under rating Foles also. He's really stepped up in the playoffs, and he had a good season in the past. He just might not be a fluke.

I don’t disagree. But I think too much credit for Carson Wentz’s season went to Wentz himself and not enough to his support system. They have a really good team.

The Phillies just won not too long ago...eh...the narrative of starving city has been reduced to starving franchise (The Eagles). Not nearly as impressive.

DGAF what happens.

I'm removing us out of the equation because...unfortunately for us, we win the "starving franchise" prize. We passed the tie we had with Detroit this year (with all respect to them).

But there are just franchises I would put far above them in terms of teams that would feel "good" in getting the monkey off their back.

New Orleans? It's off their back. You had the guys wearing the Ain'ts bags, and they got led to a title by a guy you're happy to see get a ring in Brees.

Detroit? 0-16, Misery...Only able to win one playoff game...it would be fun to see them make it.

Minnesota? Loyal fanbase. Those 70's teams were incredible, should have gotten ONE. That 1998 team was one of my favorite non-Browns ones ever...and they got hosed. The 2000 team also is in that category. Even as someone who's 2nd team is the PACKERS? I would cheer for them.

Buffalo? See above really.

Philly's wounds just seem self inflicted. Their asshole fanbase is never happy, and always obnoxious.

HEY.

NO.

NO. NO. NO. NO. NO. NO.

NOOOOOO.

You don't -GET- to play the "Dawg Pound" role you fucking martyrdom assholes. That is OURS. Get your own goddamn schtick fuckholes.

I really want to see New England lay an old school -49ers in the Super Bowl against some hapless random AFC team- like beatdown on these guys. Please.

There's an Eagles fan on my timeline that is currently bitching about how "dark" things were for his team apparently when "Vince Young" started at QB for a game.

...

This is unreal. Is there something in the water in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania that makes you play the martyr card? Cuz I remember Steeler fans crying about Kordell Stewart and Tommy Maddox "days" around 04 or 05.

Unfuckingreal.

Please Bill. Kick their asses back to the stone age.

That false start was huge
