I'm mixed on this.

On one hand? I've seen our fanbase act like this back in the day...like there's stories of our fanbase laying on the horn the night before the 86 AFCCG to keep the Broncos awake and the like.

But I don't recall a situation where we've tossed salt into the wound into a fanbase that wasn't "asking" for it.

I'm getting 2016 Cubs fans vibe off of Philly fans atm and it's kinda driving me insane lately.

Would not expect anything less from those ingrates.

I just remember this constant bitching and gnashing of the teeth during the Reid/McNabb years.

NFC Champions 2004
NFC East Champions 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006
Playoffs: 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2009
COY: Andy Reid, 2002
Pro Bowl: McNabb: 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 09

The fucking Schottenheimer/Kosar Browns had HALF of that success yet you still see all sides of that team being handled with reverence by our fanbase.

Yet it was never good enough. They always wanted some bullshit backup QB to start over McNabb (Garcia, Feeley, whatever) and they seem overjoyed over Chip Kelly getting the job. I just remember that one year...2010 I think it was where they thought they had built some sort of dream team that was going to steamroll the NFL.

Rooting for NE now. Fuck Philly. May their bones rot.

Yep, rooting for Patriots.

Hope the Eagles win and never win another one with Wentz

I get it. SOME fans are acting like complete jackasses and pieces of shit.

But if you don't think there are going to be people like this from CLE acting this way/treating the opposing fans like shit - you are out of your damn mind.

Time and time again, every SB, Fuck the Patriots. A handful of dumbshit Phili fans aren't swaying me to root for Tom Brady.

Philly does not deserve a super bowl

Let’s go Pats get that 6th

I'm always cool with the Pats because they've directly stood in the way of multiple Steelers Super Bowls and Belichick got spurned by Modell just like us.

Seriously though, imagine a world where the Pats didn't knock the Steelers out those few times. More yinzer rings? Woof. Thanks, Tom.

I've been done giving a shit about who wins the Superbowl for about 5 years now. How do Browns fans get enjoyment from the Steelers losing in the playoffs?

There wasn't anything like this on display when The Cavs won in 2016. And that was a parade in the summertime against a team that everybody hated. Our fans had every reason to act a god damn fool that day and we didn't. There weren't any signs disrespecting Steph Curry's family or any Warriors fans and if there was I guarantee you that enough Cavs fans would put a stop to it. How does any person let alone a fucking football fan not step on and stop that display by those eagles fans? It's disgraceful.

Listen. I'm in no way happy for NE. I couldn't care less about them or their success. But this ongoing thing with the media trying to portray Philly fans as some sort of underdogs or fanbase who you should feel sorry for is complete bullshit. These aren't cursed sports fans. The fucking Phillies just won a World Series 10 years ago. The 76ers have been in the playoffs more times than not this century and even made the finals once. And lastly The eagles have probably been one of the 10 best franchises in the NFL since 2000. They made 6 straight NFC Championship games and it didn't amount to shit. Poor Eagles fans. And to top it off their fans embrace their label as some sort of mix between being an outright asshole and woe is me. Fuck them. I hope Bill Belicheck runs up the score in The Super Bowl on their ass.

It's not enjoyment. It's relief.

Relief from what?

From having to deal with all the insufferable Steelers fans that a lot of Browns fans know and interact with on a daily basis.

Do you even sports, bro?
