This boobie guy posts a new article in an attempt to defend Ohio State every other goddamn day. Jesus Christ, stop crying and get over it already.
How dare I try and defend the program.
I mean...the nerve of me.
No problems if you want to defend the program. But I don't see you defending anything. I see you posting all these threads and crying. "Why hasn't Oregon gotten into trouble yet?! ESPN just hates us! If Ohio State played in the south we wouldn't have gotten in trouble!"
You post an article every other day. Give it a rest already.
By all these threads do you mean....one?
I think it's fairly evident that ESPN has created more of a media storm than they would for the average school....if you disagree, that's fine....but I haven't seen anything that leads me to believe otherwise.
The media loves to tear down even more than they love to build up, and that's what you're seeing here.
Um...no. Not one. Didn't you start the one about Alabama players cars? And the one about car troubles in Oregon? And the Buckeye leaves one? And then this one? I'm pretty sure that is 4 threads right there in the last 2 weeks. I am from the south though, so someone might need to check my math. :chuckles:
OK, I'll give you the Alabama thread...forgot about that,
I apologize for posting relevant articles on an Ohio State message board, especially that Buckeye Leaves article. Posting a Buckeye article in the Buckeye section was clearly way out of bounds, so thanks for calling me on it.
As a South Carolina fan, why would you be so bothered by the Ohio State board anyway?
You don't read do you? I don't care if you want to post articles about Ohio State in the Ohio State board. Go ahead, that is what it is here for. But 75% of your posts are nothing but bitching and crying. "Alabama players don't get in trouble cause they are in the south! Oregon should get in trouble too! How come ESPN isn't making a big deal about them?! We didn't do anything that bad, ESPN just hates us and blew it out of proportion! Everybody hates us and is jealous!"
Pretty sure I'm not the only one that thinks like this too, I've seen a few people tell you to suck it up and stop your crying. Seems like most every other OSU fan is over it, you should probably follow. Go ahead, post as many articles as you want. Still doesn't change the fact that your school got caught doing things they shouldn't have been doing.
Nobody is defending the fact OSU is in the wrong here.
:chuckles:
So I've been saying OSU did not commit violations?
News to me....
The Dispatch's article says 24 of 25 sales made profit and average was $2000 over wholesale. The 1 for negative profit was because of a car in inventory a long time.
This seems like it was a farce from the start...
Keep telling myself what?
That Ohio State hasn't done anything wrong in this particular case? Because it appears to be the case.
But hey, keep throwing out one liners like you knew it all along...You'll look even more foolish than you did trying to bash Larry Dolan on the Indians board.
Every program has violations, that should not be shocking to anyone.
But to say the football and basketball programs are corrupt aside from this incident is basically just talking out of your ass, which is something you're clearly used to at this point.
Hmm...
I'm assuming you meant to put university at the end, if not then you're fine on this post.
It's not outside of this incident though. There's been infractions in the past at other schools and if you don't think it's going on you're seriously naive. When a player who used to be in the program comes out and says that stuff is going on everywhere. It's obviously not for money because he didn't charge anyone for him to say that. You can choose to ignore it or notice that it's ethically wrong.
PS: LeCharles is that you?
Clearly reading in context is not your strong suit.
I am only talking about the supposed "car scandal."
Which has basically proven to be nothing but a bunch of BS....
And yes, any football and basketball player can go out and commit violations. That is on them, alleging corruption is basically saying the university is setting that system up for them....which is certainly not the case at every school.
A portion was proven wrong, yes. The DMV was able to prove that the titles were not falsified and the cars in question turned a profit. However, the next time you are able to take a "test drive" out of state for a couple days, please let me know.
