Any of you betting against the Browns this week?

I did quite a bit in 2015 and 2016. I would parlay the Pats money line & Browns' opponent money line with the money line of a road dog (usually one at +200 or above) that I liked, just to get a bit of an additional multiplier on the road dog bet.

I can't do it anymore, now that I have actual expectations and they aren't a lock to lose every week. But this week doesn't look good for the Browns.

I kicked the habit a while ago for the most part. I've always tried not to bet for/against my teams because I'm too clouded by emotion. The exception was betting against the Cavs so that if they lost I got a tiny bit of solace in my monetary winnings to try and cheer me up.

Bet $250 on the Warriors to win the series in 2016. I feel like I had a hand in the Cavs winning the ship. Best $250 I ever spent.

The last time I bet against the Browns was when I bet on them to go 0-16 in 2017. Paid out extremely well...but didn't make the Corey Coleman drop against the Steelers any less painful.

I picked the Browns to win in a parlay last weekend which was uncharted waters for me. I will not be betting on Browns vs Rams this weekend.

Yea I'm not interested in Browns +3....bet that'll change though.

I've only ever made one sports bet in my life and it was in 2015 at the Cosmopolitan in Vegas. Browns were double digit road dogs (like 12.5 points or something) to Kansas City and the Chiefs had a 17-3 lead at half but didn't score the rest of the goddamn game. This was the game where Manziel ran out of time at the end of the game and chucked his helmet against the ground. Think I wagered maybe like $20. No idea how some of you do this shit on a weekly basis :chuckle:

Because every week, there’s a whole new slate. You feel confident about your picks thinking you’ll hit every one after all the research. You have a lock or two that won’t miss. And it basically repeats for 15+ weeks into the playoffs.

Ill take the Browns ML. Thanks.

Why would I want any reason to root for the Browns to lose the game? Fuck that shit.

No wife or kids or I’d probably be dead.

I did last week. Whenever I bet more then $10 on any game, I usually lose 98% of the time. I knew with the upcoming schedule that it was a must win for the Browns so I put $10 on the Jets. I thought about only $5, but didn’t think that was enough bad karma to get it done. Judging by how close it was in the 3rd quarter, the extra $5 did it’s job. Money well spent.
