Paint the town Redd

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Redd leaving and Boozer leaving would not be the same thing at all.

i heard that milawakee is worse of a city than cleveland, that it is the worts city to play for.

the weather isnt going to be different from cleveland.

the bucks suck.

he wants to go to a winner, and the bucks are not that.

I have a few friends from Milwaukee and they told me that the atmosphere is simular to Clevelands.

That shouldn't matter anyways. And I agree, The Bucks aren't exactly future contenders.

Z?>Gadzer
Drew<JSmith
Bron>DMas
Snow>Williams

And the Cavaliers bench is better than Milwaukee's also.

not to mentition that we, the cavs fans, got this sick ass site called rcf.com babby.

ClevO beats the slap out of Milwaukee. Better sports venues, better arts and entertainment, better food (some Milwaukians eat people!) and the women in ClevO are better at everything that matters. It is not even a horse race. Not to mention that everybody here will love you for it. Micheal (as if he might be reading this!) come home to OHIO, win a few rings and make history !

More consistent than Drew, many times yes. But more talented? Not sure I agree on that one.

It's pretty hard to determine which is better. Joe has been a solid PF for the majority of his career. He is a good scorer in the post, and he is just as good of a rebounder as Drew. I am also convinced that Joe is a better defender as well.

As far as talent goes, Drew has the upside. Joe on the other hand, has the experience.

Redd happy with Lottery

Not only did the Milwaukee Bucks general manager delightfully watch his team beat long-shot odds to win the NBA's Draft Lottery Tuesday night, Harris also received an unexpected but most pleasant telephone call.

"It was Mike Redd,'' Harris said of the Bucks' star shooting guard. "He couldn't believe we won the lottery. He was so excited.''

Harris had to be ecstatic. Winning the lottery despite having a meager 6.3 percent chance to do so had to make his day, week, month and year. Harris is now in position to draft Andrew Boguet, who is unequivocably the best center in this year's draft and who will unequivocably provide instant relief to the inside-the-paint challenged Bucks.

Said Harris of Bogut, a well-round, mechanically-sound 7-footer who played collegiately at Utah: "He's the best center in the draft. He's got great hands, great feet. He played in the Olymics (for Australia) and did a nice job against that level of talent. And he's competitive; he's not afraid to mix it up. "He's a big-time talent.''

And so is Redd. He has developed into one of the top-notch off guards in the NBA and just may be the most sought-after free agent this summer. Redd has said on countless occasions he wants to re-sign with the Bucks, although rumors persist he'll take his ample talents elsewhere.

But if Redd wasn't interested in staying with the Bucks, would he have made that call to Harris? Would he had been so geeked about the Bucks' getting the No. 1 pick? Of course, not.

"Mike knows we want him back and that we're going to do everything we
can to keep him,'' said Harris who couldn't help but notice that the Bucks' winning combination in the lotto was sequence "22'' Redd's jersey number.. "We're going to try and do the right things to make us a
better team. This (winning the lottery) was a huge step in that direction.''

And Redd knows it.

Well, it looks like we may have to make a push for Ray Allen now. Or do we still try to lure Redd out of Milwaukee?

Re: Redd happy with Lottery

The Bucks winning the lottery is just terrible

Re: Redd happy with Lottery

i say we still keep our hopes up 4 michael..but look out 4 ray allen as well.

Re: Redd happy with Lottery

I really wouldn't want Redd. He and Lebron together would be a defensive nightmare compareable to having McInnis on the court at the same time with Lebron. You can't have your two best players be players that both don't have any desire to play tough defense. Plus, if we resign Z to go along with them their is no possible way this team could compete defensively and ever progress far in the playoffs.

Hmmm, I didn't think about the Indiana Pacers. I am sure they would love to have Mike fill the hole that reggie left.

I guess we will see what happens within a month from now.

What is the Pacers Cap Situation? Even if they aren't after Redd, they will be in the market for JJ or Allen.

This is exactly what I've been saying all along.

You can't have a group of players who don't play any defense be your best players and expect to win a championship.

LeBron is probably going to be a better defender in the future.

Redd doesn't have the desire to be a good defender and Z has had to many operations and is way to slow to be a good defender.

That's why I don't want Redd and Z this off-season.

One of the reasons I'm so willing to seek sign and trades for Z is because he is not going to take a paycut to stay in Cleveland(I know some of you are dreaming he will but it doesn't happen in the NBA unless you are a title contender) and 14 million is a big cap hit for a guy who has severe defensive weaknesses.

We could use that much money in better places if the front office is smart and truly put a contender on the court in the very near future. :)
