Redd leaving and Boozer leaving would not be the same thing at all.

Not only did the Milwaukee Bucks general manager delightfully watch his team beat long-shot odds to win the NBA's Draft Lottery Tuesday night, Harris also received an unexpected but most pleasant telephone call.
"It was Mike Redd,'' Harris said of the Bucks' star shooting guard. "He couldn't believe we won the lottery. He was so excited.''
Harris had to be ecstatic. Winning the lottery despite having a meager 6.3 percent chance to do so had to make his day, week, month and year. Harris is now in position to draft Andrew Boguet, who is unequivocably the best center in this year's draft and who will unequivocably provide instant relief to the inside-the-paint challenged Bucks.
Said Harris of Bogut, a well-round, mechanically-sound 7-footer who played collegiately at Utah: "He's the best center in the draft. He's got great hands, great feet. He played in the Olymics (for Australia) and did a nice job against that level of talent. And he's competitive; he's not afraid to mix it up. "He's a big-time talent.''
And so is Redd. He has developed into one of the top-notch off guards in the NBA and just may be the most sought-after free agent this summer. Redd has said on countless occasions he wants to re-sign with the Bucks, although rumors persist he'll take his ample talents elsewhere.
But if Redd wasn't interested in staying with the Bucks, would he have made that call to Harris? Would he had been so geeked about the Bucks' getting the No. 1 pick? Of course, not.
"Mike knows we want him back and that we're going to do everything we
can to keep him,'' said Harris who couldn't help but notice that the Bucks' winning combination in the lotto was sequence "22'' Redd's jersey number.. "We're going to try and do the right things to make us a
better team. This (winning the lottery) was a huge step in that direction.''
And Redd knows it.
Wine and Gold said:I really wouldn't want Redd. He and Lebron together would be a defensive nightmare compareable to having McInnis on the court at the same time with Lebron. You can't have your two best players be players that both don't have any desire to play tough defense. Plus, if we resign Z to go along with them their is no possible way this team could compete defensively and ever progress far in the playoffs.
