This is a list of some of the names I believe are free agent point guards this season and I wanted to see who most of you would like to see most out of these guys on the Cavs roster next season.
(I took this list off of an ESPN post so if it isn't 100% accurate I do apologize)

Earl Watson
Marko Jaric
Dan Dickau
Steve Blake
Keyon Dooling
Troy Hudson
Damon Jones
Eddie House
Erick Strickland
Brevin Knight
Jannero Pargo
Chris Duhon
Speedy Claxton
Howard Eisley
Antonio Daniels
Damon Stoudamire

I like alot of these guys and the good thing about this list is since there are so many available the money required to bring a quality PG to Cleveland shouldn't be as much.

damon jones has proven a lot as a shooter but i dont know as being a true point guard.

We could rip Duhon from the bulls if we offered over the MLE, but he may not be worth that much, but point guards are very important.

He's a very good defensive point guard, who hasn't shot that well this year inside the arc, but he shoots 35% from three. He can run an offense pretty good as well. I'd say he's worth it, he's young, and improving, and we could rip him away from the bulls.

Jaric is very interesting but I wonder at what price could he be had? If Cleveland signs a SG (Redd or Johnson) and perhaps you get Jaric, your starting 1-2-3 would be very tall and pick-and-rolls at those positions would hurt you less (because it's not like the guy switching on the pick will be little and easily posted up).

I like Kenny Anderson and Damon Stoudamire.

Brevin Knight wouldnt be too bad, but I dont think he is gonna leave Char, he found his niche there.

Alston would be a great player to get in a trade.

Daniels, Watson and Duhon would be my top 3 choices. It's a poor group of FA PG's this offseason. None are worth big money so the Cavs have to be careful not to overpay if they decide to add a PG through free agency.

Jaric seems to be more of a combo G an dnot really a true PG. He is pretty injury prone too.
Kenny Anderson is washed up at this point. Knight and Stoudemire could help as a short term fix for now.

Some GM you'd be.
Kenny Anderson--He's like 80 and isn't worth anything anymore.

Damon Stoudamire--maybe he can invite Bron over to come smoke a bowl with him and ruin both there careers.

You're credibility is worth nada!

I like his game. He works hard on his game and is improving. If Cleveland wanted pure defense, Daniels and Johnson in the backcourt would be athletic, tall and able to run the break a whole lot better than last year's backcourt.

We arent looking for starters, Snow is very well capable of that, especially if we get a good shooting guard next to him.

Damon is a very capable backup, he can score and we have seen that our bench needs some scoring. He can push the rock, and he is a vetern.

Kenny Anderson I didnt mean to put, I was on another board just talking about him and got him mixed up with Antonio Daniels, the only guy on Seattle worth getting.

You keep taking cheap shots at me and Ill make you look even dumber than what you already do in the Z thread.

This list is pretty pathetic. None jump out at me- a few "maybes" in Watson, Dickau, Dooling, Claxton, Stoudamire and Daniels, but none of these really blow Eric Snow out of the water. I wish we could have traded some of our junk for Baron Davis (don't know his contract situation, but I'm sure he's $$), who left the Hornets midseason for crappy Golden State. Another one slips through.

Baron wouldnt have helped us...we dont need a scoring PG. They very rarely help teams further themselves. Out of all the years he was in NO putting up great stats, how many times has he gotten deep into the playoffs?

Snow was a the floor leader on a team with AI and a bunch of nobodies. he is more than capable of starting here with the right lineup. He is a vet with great experience, he deserves to start, esp with his defensive effort.

The list is a mixed bag. We have shooters like Jaric and Dickau, but they are both poor defensively. I want a quicker and solid defensive point. This is where Watson and Duhon are real options. Both can shoot, but not great, but are quick, defensively good and both are great team players. Tyronn Lue I dont mind either, and I think he may be a FA too. Not a big fan of Antonio Daniels although I always like having a combo guard. Brev Knight has had a big year and would only be a stop gap. Stoudamire would cost too many dollars IMO.

Many would disagree, but I would like to have the veteran PG Damon Stoudamire. He has had his in home problems we all know that, but on the court, he is a pure professional. He can pretty much do everything we need him to: penetrate/push the ball/shoot the rock/decent defender and he is also an experienced player.

Of course the well coveted Antonio Daniels should also be mentioned, but if I go on about him I will just sound like a broken record. We all have been raving about Antonio.

Honorable mentions, Troy Hudson and Marco Jaric.

We don't really need a star point gaurd depending on who we get to fill in the 2 spot. I don't think Snow is all that bad - good D, a pass first pg who takes care of the ball. I think getting another pg just like that only younger would be just fine and if he had a decent outside shot, that would be a bonus.

Somebody on the team has to take a backseat when it comes to shot selections. We aren't going to be a team like Pistons or Sonics, not with a star like LeBron. Gooden requires the ball somewhat as well.

I say get a pass first point gaurd and defensive minded center (if Z takes his skill sets elsewhere)

Some Memphis fans have said Watson hasn't looked stellar lately and one guy even said "It just makes me appreciate Jason more." Just random stuff I though I'd post.
