Pryor eligible for the supplemental draft but suspended for the first 5 games

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Will Oakland Raiders fans party like they won the Super Bowl when Al Davis finally takes that dirt nap? I'm not even a fan or have any vesting interest in that team and I hate the guy.

Sadly, Bernie will probably never die...

Seeing as this is the same franchise that spent the no. 1 overall pick on Jamarcus Russell, spending only a 3rd rounder on the project QB is actually an improvement for the Raiders.

So, the argument against the comparison is:
1) Pryor won't make as much money
2) Pryor doesn't have Russell's arm strength
3) There is a chance Pryor can convert to a different position if QB doesn't work out.
4) Did you see Pryor work out, oh yeah!

Russell could have too. Easily, but the brass in the organization probably couldn't justify making him a project.

I'll be interested to see how pryor pans out if he stays at QB. looking at last years stats, pryor seemed to get "happy feet" against stronger competition. Last season seemed to have 4 big games/close games (Miami, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Arkansas) and on average, pryor had 17 rushing attempts during those games. In the other 9 games, he averaged 7.4 attempts per game. Now most people would think that having the ability to scramble would be advantageous, but the average speed of players in the NFL will be much greater than what he faced in the traditionally slower big 10. Also, pryor's scrambling ability is a bit over-hyped because speed is more than just your straight line running (40 time). Pryor recorded a time of 4.32 seconds for the short shuttle (which tests lateral quickness/explosiveness in a confined space) which was below average compared to other QB's times recorded at the NFL combine. Also, his time of 7.10 seconds for the three-cone drill (a test of changing direction at high speeds) was below average to other QB's times.

And for those hoping that Pryor will succeed at receiver:

Eight receivers checked in at 6-3 or taller in 2011 -- including first-round picks A.J. Green and Jonathan Baldwin -- and Pryor's 40 time was faster than all of theirs. He also had the fourth-best broad jump, though his short shuttle is middle-of-the-pack at receiver and his three-cone is slower than that of all but one.

Color me skeptical but I think the odds are stacked against pryor succeeding...

That is almost impossible. I dont believe it. I bet you my 7 year old daughter can get a 7.

I don't believe it either. I thought you could literally draw random pictures on it and mistakenly get a 10. Pryor really is a fucking idiot.

I have taken it, its a mutliple choice logic test. I guess the logic part is what gets Pryor.

What's a wonderlic?

Just searched it. NVM

Pryor does have a penchant for making news. it appears that he took the test twice in two days.
I guess this would be Wondergate ?

Mginn dismisses pryors rebuttal

Kevin Colbert says Mginn is full of shit

I fint it amusing Mggin cites sevral examples of players spending a year "practicing" to retest to only improve their scores by a marginal amount. yet attributes the score differential as "cheating" or cramming. He also states NFL teams use the low score.. apparently the Steelers do not.

Regardless. Ive seen terrel draw up a play on the chalboard. I dont think he will have any problems learning plays and calling them out in the huddle.

Terrell has made several good decisions since leaving OSU and its obvious he had not intended to leave OSU this year. Otherwise he wouldnt be serving the 5 game suspension. he would of appealed it.

Perosnally I dont care if pryor ever plays a down of the nfl but the coverage is getting ridiculous.
