I'm skeptical about this until it has been confirmed -- there are likely going to be a lot of bogus rumors floating around as the vultures of social media look for a chance to get more "hits".

But I certainly hope it isn't true -- that's going overboard. He was a great player, but his life is no more important/valuable than that of any of the any other former NBA players who have died. The next time a former player dies, and the games go on as normal would be kind of an insult.
