Not the main issue right now, I realize, but I will say that this has only added to my distrust of helicopters, especially the recreational-travel kind. I'm sure that 99.999% of all helo flights are perfectly fine, but I'm still not getting in one, especially one from Uncle Bob's Flying Widowmaker fleet.
Years ago, a guy I went to law school with and his fiancee died in a helo crash on Kauai. I guess the pilot wasn't experienced with the changing Kauai weather, got lost in some clouds, and smacked into the side of a mountain. RIP, Tom. Tip for you: take the new guy when you choose up sides for a pickup game later today. Just trust me.
