Rajon HOT WATER Rondo

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Said it in the game thread. If your PG can't shoot and he can't drive, he's worthless. This team needs a better backup PG. Rondo is awful and I've been saying it even when those unsustainable bailout threes were going in for him. He doesn't create any offensive advantages because he doesn't space the floor, he can't make defenses pay for the way they guard him, and he hardly ever gets into the paint.

I don't think the Cavs were ever fooled into thinking Rondo could provide everything we got
from Rubio.

He is a good, cheap stop gap but he lacks an offensive game and that hurts alot.

I am hoping that he gets more familiar with his teammates since it seems too many
of his passes are just off enough to take the receiver out of their rhythm.

In an ideal scene, Rondo would not be the first guard coming off the bench.

If he keeps playing like this, I wouldn't be so sure.

Goodwin might not be kept on the bench, but I think you forget how awful Pangos has played this year. Worse than Rondo against NY by far.

Pangos sucks. But he knows he sucks, so he doesn't try anything too risky.

Rondo sucks too, but he obviously hasn't come to terms with it yet. So he keeps throwing no look passes and gambling for steals even though his legs stopped moving about five years ago.

He might just be cooked. He's still >>>>>>>> Pangos.

This guy can take his "basketball genius" and go spend the rest of the season chilling in his living room for all I care.

This is pretty much what I expected out of him so far. There’s a reason he’s bounced around the past few years with little playing time.

It's too bad that Rondo isn't getting it done. His failing doesn't help us. I was hopeful going with Rondo but it's becoming clear that Goodwin should be getting those minutes.
When Rubio went down I knew it was going to change everything. And it has.
