Do Not Sell My Personal Information
First the announcement that Bruce Williis is retiring from acting, then the following day the Houston Texans beat writer John McClain retires from journalism. Coincidence?

What is Jake Gyllenhaal doing in a Michael bay movie

Ambulance was actually great for a Michael bay.

Glaring ass pot holes and a handful of lines were belly laugh inducing but overall I was pretty engaged in the thing

70/100

I don't know anything about the movie, so did they really make a movie about a guy trying to drive an ambulance around giant ass pot holes?

It's basically speed 3

Jake Gyllenhaals bro was a formula 1 driver and they have hostages as leverage

Everything Everywhere All at Once - Near masterpiece. Please go see and support. Don't watch too much of the trailer before viewing.

If you want a comparison of what the movie is like, think Evangelion (anime) + matrix and a dash of space dandy (anime).

The Batman. 2/5

Fell asleep about halfway through. Movie had approximately 7 endings. Felt interminable.

My wife's been wanting to watch animated kid movies recently so in the last couple weeks I've seen Encanto, Luca, The Good Dinosaur, Zootopia, Turning Red, and Inside Out. Only one I didn't like was Turning Red. I see the point of it but also something doesn't sit right with me. All others are decent time wasters

I'd like to 2nd this as highly recommended for sci-fi fans. My wife and I really enjoyed it. Hope it and its creators get more box office support.

I didn’t like Turning Red because it just wasn’t good outside of the very funny boy band jokes they mixed in.

Fine is the best way to describe it. Have watched three times.

Well, finally got to see The Batman. Fucking great film.

I just finished it as well.

I was really loving it up until the last act. This movie was way too long, and it peaked with the ending of the Falcone storyline, which really should have been the end of the movie.

The entire last act felt unnecessary, bloated, and ridiculous, and largely lost the dark, moody, noir vibe I loved from the first two hours. This movie had more endings than Lord of the Rings.

It also didn't help that Pattinson used the exact same Batman voice as Pete Holmes used in the College Humor Badman sketches. I couldn't help but imagine him saying lines from those videos. :chuckle:
