Not sure if this is well-known or not, but HBOMax has the extended versions of the LoTR Trilogy. I see me wasting 12+hours in my future once fantasy draft season is over.

Wish they had the bonus features from the DVDs as well.

Don't Worry Darling. 8/10

Actually pretty good.

Great disturbing twist

Greatest Beer Run Ever was good. It has alot more depth than I thought it would have. It progressively becomes more and more serious of a movie as it goes on.

Used to be famous on Netflix is a good watch imho. Poor man's whiplash.

Dunno if I was just emotional that day...

7.5/10

Mah nishtanah, ha-laylah ha-zeh,

SO at Passover, us Jews say a preyor that is called the Four Questions. That above is the first Question.

It roughly translats to .Why is today different than any other day?

Halloween Ends

Well, that was fucking dumb. There were a couple of fun kills but overall it was just shit. This movie and the previous one have treated Michael Myers with this Christ-like reverence that is just absurd. I guess he can regenerate now? What the fuck is going on here?

The ending is laugh out loud funny in how bad it is. I think the noise I made when it happened would best be described as a cackle.

Nothing in this movie makes any sense at all. Every character seems contractually obligated to make the stupidest decision imaginable at any given moment. The music stays banging, though.

Also, the death in the intro was hilarious. Fuck that kid.

Yeah the movie was ass. I paused it 49 minutes in and we still had no Michael. The Corey kid sucked. Laurie's geriatric ass sucked. Her granddaughter sucked. Michael sucked.

I'd love to see a movie of what Michael Myers was doing for the four years he disappeared. I like to picture him as the greeter at a Wal-Mart.

Also, there's a scene where he gets in a car with Corey and for some reason the idea of seeing him riding shotgun in a vehicle makes me laugh. I wish they'd put that on camera.

So, this is a weird entry, but I only just finally saw Chariots of Fire last night on a whim after watching Alexander over the weekend and listening to Vangelis' theme a couple times.

While it is true I was aware of the many references to the film, and general outline of the plot, I had never actually watched it.

And I must say, I think it is one of the most sublime films ever made. I was actually moved to tears. Which is amazingly unexpected. I don't think I have teared up during a film since the W. Administration.

I have since read, in many reviews, that many people think it's only ok, that it is a boring sports film. And I am rather surprised by the number of professional reviewers who somehow completely miss the point and the themes of the film (and don't read any reviews from the past five years, the 20-something reviewers with no life experience, analyzing every film through a SJW lens simply offends one's intellectual standards). It is emphatically not really a sports film.

This film is about demanding essential recognition of one's human dignity, a film about true moral fortitude and character in the face of the most insidious diversity, and a portrait of one of the greatest exemplars of Christian devotion, duty, sacrifice and charity in Eric Liddell.

Truly remarkable.

I pictured Michael riding on the back of Corey's motorcycle

Edit
Dude, didn't you pay attention? He lived under the bridge with a bum for 4 years.

Did it look like when people put a dummy in the passenger seat so they can ride in the carpool lane?
