I fully believe that McDaniels intends on keeping Carr. That upgrade we'd welcome at the QB position? Doesn't look plausible to pull off a trade for one of these guys.

Josh McDaniels liked/loved Baker Mayfield 4yrs ago...

saw him play for 4yrs...

with a chance to get him as an HC he seems to want to keep Derek Carr...

And folks wonder why so many want to move on from Baker...

Here's your AFC roster of QBs as of now:

Lamar Jackson
Joe Burrow
Patrick Mahomes
Justin Herbert
Derek Carr
Josh Allen
Mac Jones
Ryan Tannehill
Whoever Denver's QB is (Rodgers/Wilson/Cousins)

About 50% of the AFC has a QB advantage vs. the Browns, and most of them seem locked in for the foreseeable future... You have Trevor Lawrence, Zack Wilson and Tua in place as well but TBD on their futures..

It's always been known the need for high-end QB play in order to do well in this league and advance deep into the postseason, and this season hasn't shown any different..

Do those really believe Baker can play and sustain play at a high enough level to dethrone the QBs listed above?

I know Baker has done it to an extent once but looking at that list, I don't see how the Browns can be content moving forward or into the future with Baker at the helm...

Kirk Cousins is still a substantial upgrade.
He'll find a way to Jimmy G his way to a loss when you need him most.

If Cousins was a substantial upgrade, why does Vikings go another route without even having another option themselves?

This is the same Kirk that got into a 7-14 shootout with an injured Baker, amirite? So he's liable to have a stinker here and there.

A new GM dives right in and just trades away 33 TD and 7 Int?

You QB gurus just have it all figured out.

Oh by the way, is Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen coming with?

Matter fact @BimboColesHair is a Vikings fan

Why should the Vikings trade Kirk away without having a Trey Lance?

Especially when the Vikings problems were defense, coaching, more coaching, and Cook being in and out of games.

If Browns fan think Kirk is such a substantial winner, why the hell does Minnesota go away from that?

tank for Bryce Young or CJ Stroud or another QB

If Rodgers leaves I don’t see the Vikes moving Cousins… Goff, Fields, Love ??? That’s more than likely 6 built in wins for the Vikings right there….

Would be their division without question…
