Rubio lit it up in the olympics last night. Hoping he stabilizes the young kids a bit.

I do think it’s funny that some people think Okoro will get significant minutes at SG. Barring a trade, Garland/Sexton/Rubio will easily eat up all the backcourt minutes regardless of which combination is starting.

I think one of those guys would have to miss a game or Sexton traded for Okoro to get significant minutes at SG. I have Rubio playing 28 minutes which is 2 under his career average splitting time at PG and SG.

That's also taking 7 minutes per game away from Sexton and 3 minutes per game from Garland...all just to get Okoro 10 minutes at SG. Just doesn't make sense.

It makes sense if you consider that the long-term plan is trending towards Sexton getting zero minutes and Okoro moving into the SG role.
