I hope we can bring him back next season after he rehabs.
To be fair, he said he hates being traded because he has to move his family, find a new place, get to know team mates etc etc. He's rehabbing in Spain right now and will likely never go to Indiana - thus, basically not affected at all by the move. The front office had obviously discussed it with him (from how Koby talked about him), so I would assume no hard feelings there. As much as he's said, several times, how he hates being traded, I'm pretty sure he's never wearing a Cavalier jersey again...
I doubt he ever has to step foot in the pacers facility. This was just a contract trade. So it’s not really a trade for him. It’s not like he has to learn a new system and new city.As much as he's said, several times, how he hates being traded, I'm pretty sure he's never wearing a Cavalier jersey again...
You can think that, if you ignore everything Rubio has said.As much as he's said, several times, how he hates being traded, I'm pretty sure he's never wearing a Cavalier jersey again...
Rubio will certainly be highly sought after next year because he wont be ready until well into the season. By the time he's ready, there will be plenty of contenders clamoring for him. The Cavs could legitimately be in the mix though given his relationships here and we could legitimately be one of those contenders.
