Round 3, Game 2 | Cavaliers vs. Magic | May 22, 2009 | 8:30PM (EST) TNT

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Wow.

the site blew up so I didnt get to see the reaction live.

We got serious problems in this series, we're lucky to be 1-1...TIE...lets start over.

Did you just see what LeBron James did?

I'm supremely confident at the moment. This man will not let us lose a series. It's just not happening. I mean, I am more confident than ever and we were just 1 second away from losing twice at the Q and going down 0-2.

Speechless. Amazing. Heart fluttering. Near tears. Nervous. Praying. Praying for a win. Praying for a shot. Praying for a miracle.

I was so scared, so goddamn scared. We lose this game, we lose this series. The only thing we can say is we've led this team by 16 and 23 in two seperate games, even though both times we lost that lead completely. We can't let this happen. I can't believe one game wasn't enough to put that through our heads.

Game 3 is one of the most pivotal of any series. We need to steal a game in Orlando. WE CANNOT GO DOWN 1-3.

So besides The Miracle that is LeBron James....please Mo, Z, Andy, Delonte, Ben, Pavlovic, Joe, Boobie, Wally, Darnell, Lorenzen, JJ, Jawad...step up. All the hustle tonight, I loved it. But c'mon Mo, I know you can shoot better than that. We've done it before, let's do it again......RISE UP! LET'S TAKE CARE OF BUSINESS IN ORLANDO!

Shame to all of you who lost hope.

Hears to the real Cavs fans out there who never thought we were going to lose.

watch
for those who game up.

Dont give up on Lebron. Dont.

First off I was down and out because this is still Cleveland. Stuff like this never happens to our teams. I know it was one game but this was crazy. These two series so far have been some of the best conference finals I've ever seen. The Lakers could be up 2-0, the Nuggets could be up 2-0, we know damn well the Magic probably should be up 2-0 and we could be up 2-0.

We might not win the championship, hell we might not make it out of this series but for once we have something to cheer about.

This board has the worst timing ever. Literally right at that shot, im guessing the bandwidth exceeded

Anyways, told you guys i had that good feeling

I am not surprised this site crashed within the final seconds. That explains the power of realcavsfans! All I know is, minutes away from my 21st birthday I felt like the Cavalieres would let me down like they did in game 1. However, LeBron rose like a phoenix from the ashes and canned a fading, 30 foot jumpshot to give me the best birthday present EVER! I then proceeded to throw on one of my Cavs shirts and go out to hte bar with a few friends, daring anyone to challenge my beloved Cavaliers on what seemed like an immortal night. I'm a tad drunk, but in conclusion...

GO CAVS!!!!!

I was at the game, the Q was hoppin, I couldn't hear a damn thing besides screaming fans. Everyone was shell shocked after the Hedo bucket with a second left, some of the fans in front of me left.

Then LeBron just decides he doesn't feel like losing tonight and makes that ridiculous shot. Everyone went absolutely ape shit. People were hugging strangers and high fiveing everyone around them. People were chanting in the streets and honking their horns to the "MVP" beat, it was nuts. I felt like I could still hear the fans once I jumped onto 90.

Just wanted to say a couple of things, one of the Refs, I think it was Tom Washington, was absolutely abysmal. He made terrible call after terrible call, the other two refs made some blatant makeup calls for us because of how bad this guy was. He called every little touch on our side of the floor, and here I thought this was playoff basketball. That call on Sasha at the end, the one that almost killed our series, was absolute garbage. I wasn't aware it was a reach in foul when the offensive player stiff arms you.

The refs were pretty terrible tonight, I know we had some questionable calls go our way as well, but the ones Orlando got helped them claw their way back into the game and swung momentum their way. Not to mention Joe Smith got called for a ton of touch fouls, he must have insulted one of the ref's mothers. Smith having to ride the pine, even Andy had foul trouble early on because of this crap. I made sure to watch the game on TV when I got back, I recorded it just in case something amazing happened. There were so many times that the calls were awful and they weren't even replayed on TV showing the proper angle. I can't say enough about how bad the refs were.

One more thing I wanted to say, isn't it weird how eerily similar LBJ's shot was to the MJ Ehlo shot? It's more than just LeBron sinking a game winner over someone like MJ did. It's the fact that he sunk it over Hedo, the guy who was responsible for them being in the situation that they were in. If Hedo hadn't been playing really well, Orlando had no chance. Just like if Ehlo hadn't been playing out of his mind those Cavs would have been nowhere near the Bulls. Both players responsible for the position their teams were in, and both being beat on game winning shots.

Happy Birthday !!!!!!!

I think my head actually hit my ceiling when that shot went in. Great end to a miserable week.

:allhail: The Cavs

I went from standing there at the game with my hands on my head thinking I might not come back here this season. I can't believe it's over because of some Turkish bastard. And about a minute later I was jumping up and down screaming.... about 2 minutes later I had to sit down because I felt like I was going to pass out. Unreal. :chuckles:

I don't know what to think. The positive side of me says we dominated them again in the 1st quarter, if we can just keep that up we're good. The negative side of me is saying it took a miracle to beat them at home, we're ****ed on the road. Which will it be? I don't think anybody truly knows.

What a rollercoaster in those last 2 possessions! When all was lost, and our darkest hour seemed upon us, out comes our king, and saves us!!!!:eek::eek:

LeBron is King! :king:
