I was at the game, the Q was hoppin, I couldn't hear a damn thing besides screaming fans. Everyone was shell shocked after the Hedo bucket with a second left, some of the fans in front of me left.
Then LeBron just decides he doesn't feel like losing tonight and makes that ridiculous shot. Everyone went absolutely ape shit. People were hugging strangers and high fiveing everyone around them. People were chanting in the streets and honking their horns to the "MVP" beat, it was nuts. I felt like I could still hear the fans once I jumped onto 90.
Just wanted to say a couple of things, one of the Refs, I think it was Tom Washington, was absolutely abysmal. He made terrible call after terrible call, the other two refs made some blatant makeup calls for us because of how bad this guy was. He called every little touch on our side of the floor, and here I thought this was playoff basketball. That call on Sasha at the end, the one that almost killed our series, was absolute garbage. I wasn't aware it was a reach in foul when the offensive player stiff arms you.
The refs were pretty terrible tonight, I know we had some questionable calls go our way as well, but the ones Orlando got helped them claw their way back into the game and swung momentum their way. Not to mention Joe Smith got called for a ton of touch fouls, he must have insulted one of the ref's mothers. Smith having to ride the pine, even Andy had foul trouble early on because of this crap. I made sure to watch the game on TV when I got back, I recorded it just in case something amazing happened. There were so many times that the calls were awful and they weren't even replayed on TV showing the proper angle. I can't say enough about how bad the refs were.
One more thing I wanted to say, isn't it weird how eerily similar LBJ's shot was to the MJ Ehlo shot? It's more than just LeBron sinking a game winner over someone like MJ did. It's the fact that he sunk it over Hedo, the guy who was responsible for them being in the situation that they were in. If Hedo hadn't been playing really well, Orlando had no chance. Just like if Ehlo hadn't been playing out of his mind those Cavs would have been nowhere near the Bulls. Both players responsible for the position their teams were in, and both being beat on game winning shots.
