But is that right!?! Thats what im getting at! The shit isn't right. We shouldn't have been giving weapons to Saddam or to Iran. Shouldn't have been acting friendly with DPRK either. Clearly these are bad people. You ought to be ashamed, trying to go tit for tat.:thumbdown Just because the other party does it too does not make it right. There is a laundry list of things done wrong by either of the partys but neither is justified because the other has done it as well. Come on man.

What you are arguing isn't the topic. IF you think Bush should be tried and executed, then start a new thread.

There is a lot that I don't think is right, but I try to stick to the topic at hand. I don't use every opportunity I have to push my own agenda. I can't stand Nicky's avatar and find it completely offensive...should I discuss that here? No. Why not? It's not the topic.
The topic is Hussein being executed for war crimes....not Bush...not Rumsfeld...not the cost of the war...not Kim Jong Il and Maddy Albright doing shots.

Oh, so I guess I'm not allowed to mention Bush in this thread.... Oh, I didn't know we were LIMITING the topic to Saddam only. I'm going to state my OPINION.... So are you now the thread dictator?

I just don't like Bush being directly related to the deaths. we may have saved millions of lives, we may have caused more, who knows.

Hell no, Nick! I'm all for the freedom of speech and protest. You and dingo can light yourselves on fire in protest of Bush for all I care.:chuckles: It's your right to say or do whatever the hell you want....free country afterall.

I stand by my original statement, I just think it's sad that people are USING this event to attack Bush...it's a significant moment for the Iraqis and should not be diminished.
To compare Saddam to Bush is absurd by the way, no matter how much you despise him or disagree with him.

I knew this would happen, a Hitleresque dictator who murdered 100's OF THOUSANDS gets tried and executed by his own people and a few here turn it into a Bush bashing thread. Pathetic really. There are more than enough threads on here to bash Bush. This shouldn't be one of them. It's disrespectful to the 100's OF THOUSANDS of men, women and children that were raped, tortured, gassed, experimented on....murdered. While you may not agree with how the Iraqis got the opportunity to put Saddam on trial, bottom line is the guy deserved it more than almost anyone on earth.

If you go back and look at ALL threads (Off topic and EAYOR)... people branch off and talk about other things... OMG!!!

And if you read it said... "DISCUSS".... So people dicussed their feelings/opinions on Saddam's rule/conviction/death.. and then Bush was talked about... our government.. and, some people even quoted "BAD BOYS 2".

So... whats the point if this happens in every thread?... :rolleyes:

Exactly. Wha IF we don't go into Iraq. What IF we don't want Suddam gets nukes or something and we get a terrorist attack even worse then 9-11. Then what happens?
