This topic was about Saddam being tried and executed for the murder of his own people, yet you want to talk about how America should never have taken him out of power. You have to realize that your posts are going to incite people here. Then you get pissy when people engage you and you drop a classy "fcuk y'all" on us. This could have been a pretty easy thread for everyone to agree on. It was about the "end" and not the "means" or whether they were justified - Saddam is dead and he deserved to die...that's it. But no, you want to again talk about how America never should have ousted the murderous bastard. It's only a matter of time before you start slamming our government in the game threads...

I disagree.. and NO, this was not going to be a thread that everyone agreed on. We had NO RIGHT to remove Saddam... and when I say "we" I mean Americans... that's not our country! Now, if we actually found OSAMA, then I think the thread would be easy to agree on. It's kinda hard to jusify a turn in focus... Osama was the main person, but then "we" decided to go after Saddam... and where is Osama now???

Have you even been overseas to hear the way they (Europeans) talk about Americans?... They think we are the worst country... because we seem to be in everyone's business.. They feel that we think we are ABOVE the rest of the world... All the way from England to New Zealand they feel this way.

Yet again you miss the point. This thread isn't about the reasons given to American people for why we went to war...you just tried making that the topic. IF THAT WAS THE TOPIC OF THIS THREAD I'D HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH YOU SPEAKING UP ABOUT IT. The thread was about Saddam being executed for murdering innocent Iraqis...you just tried making it about Bush and per usual got offended when called on it.

He gassed villages of thousands and had people pushed off of buildings for sport. His own people tried him, found him guilty of these crimes, and just hung his ass. May he rot in hell."

For what its worth, I can tell you that a majority of the Iraqi civilian population welcomed Saddam's death. I can also tell you that my sister, who is stationed in Iraq regularly eats home cooked meals prepared by families who appreciative of what our GI's are doing.
