The Chubb-Hub Yardage Delivery Service

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I uhhh… think he was implying he wants to make it with the browns. Not that he wants a new team

@buzzdog beat me to it. Chubb isn’t the kind of guy to subtweet. You’d think this fanbase would understand that but then again it’s the least accountable fanbase in the nfl

But I don't think anyone we would get with those picks is as likely to contribute as meaningfully as would Chubb in 2023. Maybe next season, but unlikely in this one.

He's also an extremely popular player on the team, and regardless of what anyone may claim advanced metrics say, trading him is likely to be perceived negatively by others on the team, including Garrett, etc..

I just think that's a horrible signal to send to the rest of the team right when we're about to begin our first season with our presumed franchise quarterback.

The picks, plus $15 million that goes back into another asset.

The running back class is exceptional this year, there are a myriad of options in free agency.

Think it’s probably a better conversation to have after next year, but if a team blows you away with an offer there is every justification in the world.

The fans would have a far bigger problem than the organization would if you put a winner on the field next year.

Agreed and I would only be mad to see Nick leave the team because of the person he seems to be. His deal, and the rest of the offense, was built when we thought we had to shorten the game, run the ball a ton, and manage the game. Its just not the case anymore (ideally). Amd we have a qb that should theoretically make it easier on any RB to be able to get yardage.

That being said I love having Chubb on the team as long as it makes sense.

That was certainly what he was implying... and it's sad if this needs to be pointed out. Bordering on pathetic.

Those bars are hilarious.
I also don't understand the spotters being there. If the bar snaps, or Chubb passes out, I don't think either of them are going to successfully keep that weight from doing what it's going to do.

This is kind of a peeve of mine. So I apologize if this comes off rant-ish.

LIFT. INSIDE. THE. POWER. RACK. The first power rack was designed for a study where scientists were testing subjects with max weights/poundage. If the subject failed or fell, the power rack caught the bar. That is why they exist. To keep the lifter safe while operating with max weight. As you mentioned, those spotters aren't going to do $#!+ if Chubb's leg snapped under that weight. He is dead with even four spotters.

I see people in these YouTube videos lifting max weights on bench presses on the front of the power rack instead of inside and it feels like I'm watching Darwin Award nominations.

Exactly. I assume it's for a better view for the video? Seems like a silly reason to risk it.

It’s for the cases where Chubb almost has it but not quite. Nothing much can be done if Chubb passed out with that much weight that suddenly
