Arsham has provided some hints:
He may try to incorporate something from the past into the current uniforms, like maybe the splash from the mid 90's or the checkered striping down the sides, maybe even just one side, but it definitely wouldn't be as pronounced as the originals:
- he prefers classic uniforms & has looked at the Cavaliers uniforms through the years
- he said these won't have stripes on the sleeves
- they will have a simple, uncluttered look
- he said they remind him of a uniform from the 70's
Arsham has said that 'one of his primary goals is “to make the Cavs brand as international as the Yankees.”' He has stated that he likes the classical look and seems to value tradition, at least in terms of the new logo, so I figure that we may see something similar with the uniforms. Supposedly Arsham collaborated with Ronnie Fieg on the Knicks City uniforms, if that's any indication of his style (notice the no stripe sleeves):From what I gathered so far, it’s almost a guarantee that the new uniforms look nothing like the 70’s Cavs uni’s. The only thing he compared the new uni’s to in regards to the 70’s was the simplicity. Nothing pertaining to the design itself.
Teams are encouraged to be 'edgy' with their City uniforms and alternates. Who could possibly forget these:That Knicks jersey might be one of the worst in the history of sports….Embarrassing for an NBA jersey of a classic franchise…
Hot garbage…
With a different font I don't mind these at allTeams are encouraged to be 'edgy' with their City uniforms and alternates. Who could possibly forget these:
The font was weird and the buttons/flair on the side of the shorts was whack. Hey, they were definitely edgy though, I’ll give them that. With a different font I don't mind these at all
Didn't notice the sides. Changes to that and font and I'm goodThe font was weird and the buttons/flair on the side of the shorts was whack. Hey, they were definitely edgy though, I’ll give them that.

I dunno, I quite enjoyed the 24 hours where everyone was determining what album covers each letter was from.Teams are encouraged to be 'edgy' with their City uniforms and alternates. Who could possibly forget these:
None, although I like the idea of the subtle 90s stripe going across the jersey. I think we may get something like that if there’s not going to be much else on the uniform, such as striping.
Love one and two.
Bottom right and top left are my favorites.
