The Jarvis Landry Thread: Bless 'Em

Not sure you can blame Jarvis, who has a career resume of being an efficient slot/over the middle type receiver when absolutely nothing in our passing game is working.

Baker threw for what 73 yards yesterday? Landry's 26 yards was damn near half of Bakers yardage.

Problems are much deeper than Landry.

Yes. I really chuckle at WR criticism when we completed 7 passes on the day. What the hell are these guys supposed to do? Based on how Baker was throwing the ball on Sunday, it wouldn’t have mattered if we had Davante Adams.

Landry is overpaid but he’s tough and can catch underneath, something our QB needs. Assuming he wants to be here, he’ll get restructured and we’ll figure out a #1 option in the off-season.

I don't see why he would agree to a restructure when he's already complaining about a lack of targets. And with him getting older and more injury prone, I'm not sure he's going to like what his market value is going to be.

Id be more than happy to cut him and move on from Landry. Browns would be better off using the money elsewhere.

thats for sure. Hell with Landry pretty beat up for most of this year (apparently he is healthy now), and OBJ struggles and eventual release this team is already up shits creek.

I think it's gonna come down to who's throwing him the ball next season on if he restructures.
