The Jarvis Landry Thread: Bless 'Em

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
There's no reason to go into new vs old regime over every move. On both sides, actually. This was a great trade. Leave it at that.
Who brought it up?

Shit, who's brought it up in multiple threads? And shitposting about it at that? (And then complaining about shitpost responses...whew I'm soaring).

This isn't hard to figure out. Bashing Sashi got old awhile ago, people such as myself who were anti-Sashi moved on a loooooong time ago.

There's one side who can't move on, here.

Things that you have to like about Landry (League Ranks)

5% Drop Rate - #10
Yards After Catch - #3
Red Zone Catches - #1 (with only 5th most targets)

Reliable hands, gets north south after the catch and can produce in the redzone.

I'd say those are 3 things our receiving core desperately needs.
And he's 25 years old and has never missed a game in his career.

People can hate on Sash all they want but he’s the reason the browns have the ammo for Tyrod, Jarvis and Randall.

And still have 5 picks in the top 65.

Browns traded #123 for Landry, they keep their own 4th rounder, which I believe gets swapped with GB.

Fair comp on Landry, I'm digging these moves today.

Interesting.

We are sure we aren’t swapping a 5th to get a 4th in that deal with GB?

I would think a young corner who didn’t work out on a contract year would have less value than a 2nd round/2nd year 22 year old QB with starting experience who showed flashes.

Intersting.

Even if he learns how to QB behind Rodgers? He's still 2 years away from being a good starting QB. I feel it's a great move for both teams. Kizer looked "beat" after this season.

Coming off a season where Ricardo Louis led the WRs with 357 yards, I'll take Jarvis Landry for roughly the same price we paid for Davone Bess.
