The Mandalorian

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Given the name drops I imagine Ezra Bridger is going to be involved.

I just hope that all this is not concluded by tying it in to the stupid Sequel Trilogy.

Like Palpatine uses Grogu's blood to create Snoke or some stupid shit.

Also, also: This series is exactly what we had hoped what the Sequel trilogy could have been.

The reappearance of a fan favorite being the bad ass we had always imagined he'd be is what everyone who was a kid in the 70s, 80s and 90s had hoped we'd see of Jedi Master Luke Skywalker.

The excellence of The Mandalorian and Clone Wars and Rebels makes one simply rue the existence of JJ Abrams, Rian Johnson and Kathleen Kennedy.

Their screw-ups are monumental. It is almost as if they worked overtime to fuck up Star Wars.

Oh God, please no.

One of the best parts of this show is that it has had no relation to the new trilogy at all. We can just pretend it never happened and all be better for it.

You were gonna say Jar Jar weren't you

No, I was hoping someone would make a good suggestion.

Because it actually drops off after four somewhat.

For all intents and purposes, Obi Wan could be included as a truly great thing to come out of the Prequels. Without them, we only know Obi Wan as a shithead, lying space ghost.

I guess we could say the same for Palpatine.

We only knew him as an old man.

The Prequels are more about him than anything else.

The scene was n Typhon, from Grogus meditation to Boba Fett being a badass twice, was awesome.

Typhon was the original homeworld of the ancient Jedi. Don’t remember if that was old canon or new.

Man this series is so good. Rodriquez is one hell of an action director

I hope they say just fuck off to the Abrams sequels and just go with where the story leads them

That episode was fantastic. I'm sure it's being a prisoner to the moment and downright blasphemous to say... but could that have been the best Star Wars action sequence?

On the topic of top-5 prequel characters, I have to put Maul and Ashoka as the top 2 by a wide margin. I'm only counting characters introduced to us in the prequels, so Obi-wan is out, as well as Rex, who technically appears in RotJ.

I'm okay with Dooku being in the top five, but I'm not sure I can even put Qui-Gon in there. Ventress, Cad Bane, Bo-Katan and Padme are all better characters to me.

If your initial list was just counting the movies, then yeah...

I re-watched ROTJ a few weeks ago and what a fucking underrated movie. Everyone has a strong opinion on the Ewoks but what a way to wrap the original trilogy. The end sequence with Palpatine, Vader, and Luke not only holds up but put the sequels to such shame. I can't think of a better way to express why the Dark Side is so powerful and attractive and then you have Rey doing some stupid She-Ra type maneuver. Such subtle maneuvers by Vader including bringing Leia into the conflict as a temptation.
