That was an odd choice.

Felt like George Lucas stole the script and slipped those characters in and no one noticed.

Not a good start for Kenobi. Little Leia is annoying, and this inquisitor sister has a permanent scowl on her face and just awful line delivery.

Why do these adults have such a hard time catching this little legged Leia? Those two chase scenes involving her were worse than the scooter chase sequence on Boba Fett.

Watching Severance right before starting Kenobi certainly doesn’t do it any favors.

Is she also suppose to Juke adults left and right? I agree that most ten year olds are annoying which is why I hope she or Luke aren’t given this much dialogue and action going forward.

I get the complaint about the chases. I told my wife fastest kid or slowest adults.

But that’s such a little complaint in the grand scheme.

She seems awfully small for a 10 year old. I have a 9 year old niece that is much bigger than her. Leia is closer in size and running talent to my 7 year old niece.

Maybe the stabbing is why the Grand Inquisitor is thinner in Rebels!

I mean, the Mandalorian is also basically a show about babysitting

Great things about the first episodes:

Production value is top notch. Maybe best of Disney Star Wars outside of Force Awakens.

I do love when Star Wars just tries new stuff and new worlds. Alderaan is new, but we’ve only seen it blowed up. Everything about Daiyu’s design was just tremendous.

The story they’re tellling with Obi Wan seems like the story they tried to tell with Luke but did so poorly. We were supposed to buy that Luke is sad based on a few poorly shoot flashback. We know why Kenobi is broken and has given up on the Jedi way. This feels way more earned, and I think will pay off at the end of the series.

The opening scene in tattooine when the inquisitors are explaining the Jedi code was great. Explorations of dark vs light that is anything other than “Jedi Good/Sith Bad” aren’t often done. They tried it in ROTS and it was a bit meh.

Like Rogue One and Mando, there are about a billion Easter eggs, but they do a good job of not overshadowing the story.
