Is there something that closely resembles Rome: Total War? I’ve been getting an itch it play it, but obviously that game is way old now. I see they made a new one in 2019. Only thing is I just have Xbox. I guess I could always get a gaming pc.

Edit- noticed Rome II had an expansion just 2 years ago.

You’d need a PC, and then I’d just play one of the newer Total War games. Unless you are looking for a Rome game specifically. Then Rome 2 is your best shot although it’s one of the more maligned TW titles.

Yeah I’d prefer Rome, but could dabble with that three kingdom one.

I’d just look around, I actually skipped it because of the poor word of mouth but that was a long time ago. Three Kingdoms is one of the best from what I hear, but I lost my taste for historical titles after the flavor of the Warhammer Total War games.

I still play Medieval II fairly often -- especially with the huge number of mods out there. One of those mods -- Third Age Total War -- is really great. Though I thought the garrison stacks needed some script editing....

Medieval II was sick. It was the last historical title I played into the ground. Not a huge mod guy though.

Medieval 3 would probably be an insta buy for me

I don't play video games

I don't have enough storage for another Xbox 360 game and gta5 is ready to go. What's the cheapest form of storage? Just a flash drive? Do some not work or can I get anything of Amazon or best buy etc

One of the "issues" with Total War Warhammer is the power creep with each DLC.

Play a Beastmen campaign vs. the new Greenskin campaign and the Beastmen feel so outdated and clunky. I guess that's the nature of DLC generally and since each game builds I assume they're gonna revamp everyone when they release Warhammer III

Beastmen and Chaos are worthless. Might as well just wait for WH3 which will be all Chaos and do right by them.

They have reworked some of the older races like the Empire and Greenskins as you mentioned though. I dont play competitive multiplayer so I really dont give a shit. I just run campaigns and have fun. I highly recommend the VC and TK campaigns if you havent fucked with them yet.

Havent played much VC. Maybe I’ll start up a ME campaign with them. Still havent played Grom’s campaign though I did buy the dlc.

I didn't even bother to watch the most recent movie, but I enjoyed Fallen Order a great deal. One of the few games this year where I actually cared enough to be beat it.
