The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Another site that will list the runewords by level, though it doesn't give the stats, so you'll have to cross-reference.

But there are plenty of low level things oyu can make to really help in the early part of the game.

I know for certain builds early on you can be stopped stone cold by something that's immune to the only damage type you do.

Holy fuck, almost broke my controller fighting Flamelurker in Demon Souls. How the hell do you beat this bitch ass mother fucker. Honestly not sure I have the patience for From games anymore.

Lord heavens Diablo is such a hard fight in the early difficulties. Easier if you maange to gear for him and get a bunch of fire resist. But if not, you're gonna die quite a few times.

By being a mage and being sure to roll a lot. :chuckle:

Seriously, if you get stuck, feel free to shoot me a message on PSN. I'd have to reinstall the game but I still have my characters.

Duriel was an absolute pain in the dick; might be one of the toughest bosses in all of D2 when you consider how hard he hits, the limited space that you have to fight him, the fact that he is faster than you, and what level you're likely to be facing him at.

I finally relented and used the town portal method.

Now that I'm on Act III, I'm thinking about re-speccing my Necromancer in order to further increase my summon strength. Do you have any recommendations for skills/stats points allocations with regards to a summoner build around level 30?

Duriel, if I recall, has a high chance of dropping a legendary item that directly counters him lol. It's armor that has Can't Be Frozen on it I Think.

Yea I mean the general idea is once you get about 4-5 melee skeletons then put the rest of your skeleton points in mastery and mages. The reaosn being the mages will always be able to hit the enemy while too many melee skeletons ends up being counterproductive as inevitably some of them get caught on the outside of the fight being unable to attack.

Also the Clay Golem is generally better than the other Golems because it slows and it's attack rating skills with points into it, whereas the other golems atk rating scale with points into the other golems.

This makes a big difference early because the Clay Golem is the first one you get. So all of your points spent into both make it slow by more and hit more regularly.

NOw later, much later, the Iron Golem is better, but it's entirely dependent on how willing you are to make it out of a high level piece of armor, as it scales with the item you make it out of.

Also, the act 2 mercs are generally better than the others for everyone due to the paladin auras they have.

Cool, that's generally how I had been playing it, with a couple minor differences (put a couple points into bone/poison spec and have been using a blood golem).

From looking around the interwebs, I've seen that people generally put their points into strength til they can equip what they want, dex until they have 75% block chance, and then the rest into vit, with nothing going to energy.

Yea the Summoner necro doesn't really need energy at all.

Personally I think the early levels are so much easier to stomach when you stack vitality just for the stamina boost.

Later one when you get a bunch of gera that has +stamina you don't need it as much but boy it sucks constantly having to stop and rebuild stamina.

Oh I am a mage. I can’t beat this fucking game as a straight melee build. I may be underleveled for Flamelurker. I’m like 29. Gonna do 3-1 4-1 and come back. I got him low but he gets ultra aggressive and the wind up on soul arrow is slow as balls.

whats your psn? i’ll add you. I dont even know how to summon people in this game though. From games are so fucking esoteric. I’ll google it.

The cutscenes between acts in D2 are pretty epic. Onto Act III now

Grizzwald614 is my PSN. I can walk you through how to summon me specifically whenever you wanna team up.

Playing Super Metroid on my switch as a part of a community play through. I hate wall jumping and shooting mechanics are archaic, but just absolutely love replaying this game.

Loved the game. I'm sure it's the only game I played start to finish multiple times. Never seemed to get old.

Just beat Diablo on the first try! Onto Act V...

I bought a Staff of Teleportation to be able to quickly move around, what is the best/cheapest way to recharge its teleports? A typical repair on it is expensive AF. Would the Horadic Cube recipe be the best way to do it?
