They're missing a starting corner, a starting safety, a starting DE, and two starting LBs.
I wouldn't exactly crown them a top ten defensive unit, but they've been absolutely ravaged by injuries. Even the best defensive line is only going to get so much pressure when they've got a JV back seven behind them.
I spotted 4-5 that weren't called along with their RT getting a headstart on every single play.with how weak their offensive line is how were the not more holds called against them. Even on the gustin facemask call the announcer mentioned that he was being held...
overall solid bounceback game. more time to rest and work on the film for week 3
No matter who comes back from injury, I'd say this is a bottom 10 defense when it's all said and done.
Eh, I can't make a judgment like that quite yet.
Assuming they get most of their defense back at some point this year, I don't think it's unreasonable for them to be at least in the 15-20 range.
Definitely need to address the LBs, though.
ETA: Also, their offensive line got away with a lot of holding tonight...
Such eloquent reply makes me believe that you took the alcohol from the fridge and alphabetically organized it in the cupboard?I started tonight with alcohol in my fridge.
I am ending tonight without alcohol in my fridge.

Freddie would have thrown the ball 3 times on that first set of downs.
I'm a Stefanski fan. And Baker looked like 2018 Baker on all but exactly 1 play. Let's go boys.
We may have the worst linebackers
and safeties in football even when healthy.
