Week 5: Browns @ Titans (1:00 P.M. CBS)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
WRONG.

Benjamin cutoff his route, shook the defender and cut back to the weak side of the field. It was a big time play by Benjamin..... he made that play with his skill set.

Benjamin did what a receiver is supposed to do when the QB is scrambling. He kept the play alive, both skill set and using his head.

And for the fourth time this year, the game thread serves as an epic public shaming for Hoyer's doubters. Go Browns!
happy with the win and Hoyer stepping up and making a few winning plays, but beating the Titans by a point is nothing to beat your chest about.

2-2.

We were at the 20. And I said we should have kicked during the 4th down play. It's not hindsight. It's common sense.
Except our defense was shaky at best up to that point. No you rely on the offense and if we dont get it, they are still in their won territory.

Fighting back from a 28-3 hole in the first half on the road is impressive. The Manziel fanboys who look for any reason to lobby mid game for a QB switch are growing more and more embarassing.

But any angle the Panic Pack want to tuck that tail between your legs is fine by me. Browns won when half the fans were about to call for tanking the season and firing the coach in week five.

Absolutely stunned. Never seen anything like it from the Browns.

How many times did everyone say to themselves, "A good team would _____ after getting an opportunity like this," and watch the Browns do that thing in the second half?

Maybe more times than in the last five seasons combined?

God our Defense just needs to get its head out of its ass...With the running game we possess we should be able to control games. We just cannot get into these holes.

We also benefited from some suspect Titans play calling at the end there. They had been gashing us for run yards and really moved away from it at the end there.

Hold it steady guys. We are still only 2-2. The team is sticking in the games, but if we want to make the playoffs we are going to need to learn how to play a complete game.

They should be 3-1

Or 0-4 or 4-0.....

The Browns may not be a consistent team, but they're fun to watch, at least for selective halves. :chuckle:

Congrats to this crazy team for the biggest comeback in team history.

The Browns (2-2) had never come back from more than 20 points before, and this easily topped the comeback on Dec. 4, 1966, when Cleveland trailed the Giants 34-14 and won 49-40, according to STATS Inc.

I don't think anyone has them winning a Super Bowl. But they're entertaining to watch and they've been doing things good teams do for large portions of each game.

Plus they have a top 10 QB...

While I agree that a level head is needed, it probably won't be needed until Tuesday at the earliest. This is one of those times where a fan is allowed to cheer, stick out their chests, and celebrate. We have been following bad, directionless franchises for so long I understand if you have completely forgotten how to react at times like this.

The only sadness I'm willing to feel is for the people who saw the team struggle for a half and immediately think, "This season is fucked, get Manziel out there to get acclimated." That is the opposite of level-headed. Even good teams have a bad half. Even good teams have bad months. And it's what Cleveland has put up with for too long.
