You think they would let her return in NJPW before returning in WWE? I don’t, but who knows. AEW talent are speculating about her coming over to dirt sheets and they just booked a Hayter/Baker vs Saraya/mystery partner a month in advance for LA.

We’ll see. Starting to feel like the Punk rumors to me. Would be a MASSIVE get for AEW and would basically force TK to give the women more TV time. Could also be a big draw for the rumored AEW women’s show.

Final Battle was ridiculously good

FTR/Briscoes III might have been the best of the trilogy

Claudio got his moment in the main event with a very cool and creative finish to a tremendous match

Yuta/Garcia might have been the best of their series as well. Garcia is so damn good and Yuta is right there with him.

On a side note, @Kizzle. If Sasha were returning to WWE, they’d be the ones booking this appearance and promoting it. They aren’t. She gone.

The in-ring product was, not surprisingly, very good. Great wrestlers put on great matches.

I'm just not sure where they (Tony Khan/ROH) go from here. TK seemed especially frustrated in the post-event press conference that his television partners weren't willing to give ROH a timeslot.

This proposed $10 a month Ring of Honor streaming service is going to be a massive wet fart. There's just no appetite for that.

Unfortunately for TK, he basically paid $4M bucks for a product that no one cares about all that much. I guess the tape library was worth it?

I always had the vibe that she thought she was bigger than the business. They can make another Sasha, she isn't Rock or Austin. Chyna was over HUGE. But even she got the door.

I don't trust Dave on anything. Ever. He's a mark and gets played often..

That being said... if there's any truth to this, this is why the Sasha to AEW makes no sense. She was treated as royalty by the WWE for the large majority of her career. First this, first that. Etc.. AEW doesn't have the respect for women's division it deserves and they definitely don't have the money WWE could offer to entice her.

Go from headlining WM to what... 15 minutes on Dynamite.

Yeah I am not sure why TK thought ROH would be able to generate a TV deal based on the current interest in the product. It doesn't help that ratings started to suffer when ROH was all over Dynamite. I really thought the main reason to purchase ROH was to get access to loads of content to build out a potential AEW streaming deal and you could launch a ROH show off of that similar to how NXT started out on the WWE Network. Rebuild the brand slowly and gain interest that way.

I know TK was a big ROH fan and perhaps he valued the brand higher more in his head. The last year he has leaned more mark than businessman in the way he's handled AEW and the product has suffered from it.

I’d say it wouldn’t be a big get for AEW only because the women’s division is in shambles.

Sasha VS Bianca with Sasha as the heel with a heel Naomi as her valet just seem like the best idea. Naomi isn’t a diehard wrestling fan so she’ll be happy being on TV. This is a match i know both Sasha and Bianca want. I could see womens RR being Sasha’s return. Of course she wins.

A RR win is one of the main accomplishments that Sasha has not achieved yet.

I was about 80% convinced she was returning for War Games. Would have been another 1st for her and was in Boston, her home town. I was disappointed when Becky was the final participant.

Eh...the women's wrestling scene is still pretty short on women who can both work in the ring and cut a decent promo, and Sasha is one of those few.

I also think she got sort of trapped in a midcarder role in WWE after they crowned Charlotte and Ronda as the women they obviously wanted to build their division around.

Had she known her place she’d be like Liv, Alexa and Rhea. Be a mainstay, main event here and there and may even hold a title now and then.
She thought she was bigger than she was and got burned.
