WWE/NXT/AEW/NJPW Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I don’t think it will make much of an “impact” personally. A casual fan myself, I still have little desire to watch them live when I can watch a recap in 5 minutes Thursday. The product doesn’t do much for me and I’ve been to a handful of live shows.
I'm just going to enjoy any unnecessary digs or comments related to anything from that interview.

If AEW has really changed, we won't see it

Copeland started the show with a promo about pro wrestling and hyping up AEW as where the best wrestlers wrestle.

Later in the show, we saw Billy Gunn dominate Jay White.:hsughwiggle:

Jay's run in AEW has been wwe-esque, he should have been propped up just like Will has been. Instead he had a good feud where he lost to a hurt MJF, and is now relegated to 6 man teams.

It was overall a good show, not as good as the last couple weeks but as usual the action in the ring was great. Swerve and Joe's contract signing was awesome.

Go out of your way to watch Paul Heymans HOF speech. It was something special.

Nice shout out to Windham during Mike and Barry's induction.

It is heartbreaking but a nice tribute.

Why schedule Wrestlemania on Final Four weekend?

The buildup all week has been the best it's ever been. Don't watch too much NXT, but looking forward to Stand and Deliver.

I just don’t get the uso appeal. Spamming super kicks. Stupid catch phrases. Stealing other finishers. Just boring.

For me, it’s Jey’s character development during the Bloodline storyline. They normally save the kicks for momentum changes in the match.
Tonight was telling the kicks were telling a story about two brothers. It wasn’t about the kicks tonight, it was about showing who was the toughest. It showed Jey making surpassing his big brother but still being conflicted/loyal to him which is his weakness.
I’m a huge Jey fan, he was the heart and soul of the bloodline and I’ve loved his growth.

ETA:
Yes the yeet thing is corny, but it sells a shit load of merch and gets as big a pop as anyone right now.

Man I haven’t watched a wrestlemania in years —- these commentators are atrocious…

They want to give you their whole Wikipedia page instead of calling the match…

They truly don’t sell it….Terrible
