TBH I had not set foot into the Indians discussions forever so I picked a spot about 10 pages before the newest post and started reading. I must have picked a bad spot because it was 10 pages of bickering and trash posts, hence my reaction. Having said that the 6-7 pages I've just read have been excellent, informative, and appropriately conversational... which is what I was hoping to find in the first place.

I'm jacked that this team has battled all the way back, especially nice to see guys like Jose and Kip getting back into form. Looking forward to the next few months.

The only other thing I can hope for is to see Dolan shock the world and find a way to pay and keep Lindor when it all shakes out. Since that is highly unlikely I'm enjoying the ride while it lasts. Beats becoming sellers at this point of the season.
I’ve seen informative discussion and bickering throughout this site, here is no different. Just enjoy the ride and not judge with a first glance. You can find a lot good things in here.

Even if we do not keep Lindor, I don’t see a true rebuilding season anytime coming up. We have likely the most talented AZ league and A Ball teams the Indians organization has ever had. Getting Reyes long term fills in a hole in the upper minors hitting wise and getting Arroyo helps replace Kipnis. I don’t care what the haters feel, but how can you not rate this FO one of the best in baseball?

@jack hammill

Sincerely did you mean two separate people or did you see Chang and Arroyo together a lot over the threads and associate them as one person? Chang is the Indians farm hand that was called up for a game. Arroyo is on the 60 day DL but we acquired him from the Rays. Both guys are looking to take the spot of Kipnis if he leaves next off season. Arroyo I don’t know well yet but being a former top 100 prospect and the center piece of a bigger trade earlier in his career, says he has talent, just has had injury issues. Sincerely though these two will be in the same sentence mostly because they are trying to get the same spot on the roster, when/if Kipnis is no longer on the roster.

Very aware that they are two separate people ... and although it is dangerous to try to read tone into social media remarks there is a huge difference in your question and in the remarks of the individuals that I criticized

Thanks for your response

I legit asked you a question. I don’t know what else to tell you.

Leaving Minnesota tied with the twins after taking 3 of 4. I know a lot of people threatened suicide if the Indians didn't sweep and win every game by 10 runs, but this was a damn good outcome.

Indians need to keep playing great baseball though.

Sorry if I have offended ,, felt like you were making fun ,,, perhaps if you had responded to my question

I have to nothing against either player ..

Some appear ready to move onto Chang who arguably had his chance last spring ... The Tribe opted for Freeman ... I do not see what he has done this season except work cheaper

Question for the more knowledgeable;

What makes someone projected to close? Like, Hunter Wood seemingly has incredible stuff. But he seems like someone that’s pigeons into middle relief?

I was just browsing, and it doesn’t seem like as people come up, anyone is really groomed to be a closer so this is more intrigue than wondering specifically about Wood.
