That schedule is a joke. We will have 3-5 postponed games in the first two weeks. Then the team will be huffing and puffing all the way to the ASG.

There are 7 teams with a roof: Blue Jays, Rays, Mariners, Brewers, Astros, Marlins & Diamondbacks. You then have 7 teams Rangers, Padres, Angels, Dodgers, Athletics, Giants & Braves in warmer climates.

That is 14 locations that could & should host games in March & into April. Factor in the series that take place internationally & you have zero argument for teams playing in Cleveland, Minnesota & Pittsburgh that early in the year. Start a week earlier, add in some more off days & the problem should take care of itself.

If they thought that Twins series was a pressure cooker, with this next series against the first place red hot Red Sox coming they gotta nother thing coming. They cannot open the door against an offense like this.

They need to hit minimum three home runs a game and starters need to pitch 8 innings plus each.

I don’t see a chance otherwise.
