Your 2019 Cleveland Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm not complaining in hindsight. Just telling you how people in the city felt. Think of this as journalism.

Except it's not journalism whatsoever. It's your opinion with zero to back it up.

I spent more time in the city (or at least equal. I lived downtown and worked from home) and at the ballpark (season tickets). The two wildest, most enthusiasts periods of the past 10 years in tribe baseball were the 2016 WS and the 2017 streak. If you're gonna dispute that, there's really no common ground for us to have a discussion.

Also if Naquin isn't ready to play like tomorrow, I wouldn't be scared to just put him on the 10 Day DL and get him healthy and add Johnson to the 40 man roster and bring him up to replace Naquin over the DL stint. I know Johnson won't be up probably too long, but he could play everyday and get a taste for the bigs like the did with Bradley. Though the trade deadline is like 5 days away so we shall see if they go and get someone, but I cannot see why they would stay with who they have when they are 2 games behind the Twins.

Lowest in all of baseball by nearly 1/2 a run

I just like the mindset of this team - they’ve had to battle from early in the season, which is a stark difference from the past two years.
If they can get through this upcoming gauntlet, I’m optimistic they can compete in a series.

Sad part is we don't even have a true setup man in my mind, so getting another arm actually makes sense as well if the price is right. Sorry I dont 100% trust Wittgren to be that setup man.

Don't think I have seen it anywhere in here, but Blake Snell is having surgery on his elbow and figures to miss at least 6 weeks

Pretty big loss, although their upcoming schedule is pretty easy. Looks like we will avoid him in our late August series vs. Tampa

Welcome back to the Tribe forum, good sir. Any MLB connections also in New York by chance?

Same guy is actually very directly and personally connected with Paul Dolan. But it's actually such a direct thing that I cant comment any further on it or anything he tells me regarding the Indians--I don't ever really even ask because I really don't care to get that in-depth since I'm more of a casual baseball fan than anything.

I knew your source was James Dolan. Tell him his musical act is pure shit.

LOL No, not Jimmy. But my friend is connected to the entire Dolan family. That's all I'll say to avoid outing his name even though he's not really a public figure or anything.

Us die hard fans would love some scoops though ;)

Since Browns training camp started a couple days ago, you wouldn’t even know Cleveland had a baseball team if you turned on 92.3. I certainly share the excitement for the upcoming Browns season, but they’re literally only practicing right now. The worship of the team is getting out of control with Bull and Fox spending time yesterday discussing which Cleveland suburb Odell Beckham should live. Meanwhile, the Tribe has only been the hottest team in baseball since June and less than a week away from a pivotal trade deadline.
