Jim O'Neil is Frisco's Problem at DC

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Forget it, joke that fell flat... Let's move along.

If Shanny is moving on, Greg Roman intrigues me.

If his goal is to become a HC wouldn't staying with a defensive coach like Pettine be the best idea since he will get all the credit for the offense doing well?

If he signs up again with daddy he won't get nearly the credit, and it's not exactly like it worked out so well the first time around.

But hey, if the guy wants out I don't really want him anyways. It is kinda sad if it's really about issues between management and coaches though, and not just trying to get together with his dad.

I'm not saying you're wrong currently. Just that when you are there's 0 chance you'll admit it.

From page one of this thread:

Re: Browns New Offensive Coordinator

You can eliminate Van Pelt, he is staying in Green Bay and was promoted to QB coach.

I'd throw Kyle Shanahan on the list, just because he should be.

Keep hanging around the board, though. I'm bound to get one wrong eventually.

You don't give me enough credit for how humble I can be.

Honestly I don't think it matters who is OC until the offense gets an infusion of talent. It's remarkable what Shanny managed when the team was healthy. When Mack played it was a totally different team.

It seems like all the top picks have been on defense lately (or short shitty QBs). The defense has shown some flashes of being great while the offense has shown that it can be absolutely shut down.

Having a great OC is huge, but it won't matter until QB, WR, TE, and O line depth get addressed.

This offense absolutely has enough talent, some very talented wide receivers and a great tight end when he's healthy.

Young running backs and maybe the best offensive like in football when healthy.

Depth is an issue, maybe adding another wide receiver as well.

But the only thing they need to make the offense go is someone who can get all of them the ball.

Not disagreeing, they have no QB. I think the line is fine besides depth. I like the backs. I just think we need 2 WRs, a reliable TE, and above all a QB.

WR is a definite need, intermediate threat and a number one because I no longer have faith in Gordon. I like Hawkins and Gabriel. Everybody else is questionable.

Andy Hawkins is a great kid btw and has been donating his money since he got it.

He's a big deal in this shitty little town. Hope he can stick with the Browns for a long time, but I know the Steelers will eventually get him. Pittsburgh's in our backyard here.

Jigo is slipping into the Dark Side, we may have lost him.

Get those disagree buttons polished up....

The receivers we had this year would be 3rd or 4th receivers pretty much anywhere else, and once Hoyer is in an offense like Philly, KC, Chicago or Houston with a short rhythm passing game, featuring decent size and speed with the receivers, he will look like an Alex Smith type starter. And the Browns will be jacking around with Manziel because the owner is a few years away from stepping back. Good Fucking Times!

The disagree button is in the middle of LIKE and FUNNY. Enjoy!

Steelers are winners. I think it's well established here that I'm in it to observe a good product. The emotion and constant rebuilding others get off on do nothing for me. I don't care about projections, drafting, any of that shit. Just give me high quality sports. Incompetence is not a part of my personal life or business life, so why should I subject myself to the incompetence of others?

If the team that happens to be located near the town I was born in cannot provide a good product I'll take my business elsewhere.

I'm raising my son a Steelers fan, absolutely. It's the responsible decision and better for his well being.

I'm pretty stoked Jigo made this decision once the Steelers jumped the shark. Outstanding timing, sir! Do your running shoes have individual toes and a growth plate crushing lack of soles? 2011 rules!

They've had down years before and always come back. They are a winning organization because they select the right personnel and stick with it, from the FO on down.

They've been successful in all eras and styles of the league.

They're a dynasty.
