I'm guessing no Dalembert since he's been available for a few days now and no reports about us having any interest.
Too bad, I think he could be a good option on the bench. The BS in at the Knicks with terrible chemistry and triangle made him look worse. We still need a replacement for Andy. And if one of Love, Tristan or Moz are not available then we're back to struggling like we did before Moz was here when Tristan and Love got to play way too many minutes.

Well, Dalembert hasn't signed with anyone else either, and I've seen no rumors that anything is close. My sense is that some teams would take him, but the feeling is he has dropped off enough that teams in the market for a backup center are hoping for something better. He's probably been offered 10 day contracts, and I wouldn't blame him for turning that down. I think Dallas, Portland, and Golden State would seem the main teams in need of a backup center, but that could easily change. Dallas, by the way, can't sign Dalembert because they traded him within the last 12 months.

It seems the Cavaliers front office wants to see everyone get on the court before filling that last spot. If they are only looking at 10 day contracts, Quincy Miller is a long athletic wing defender tearing up the D league right now.

As long as guys like Shumpert are healing and Mozgov doesnt know the plays yet, we won't know what the team really needs long term.

You cant predict which major injury to which major contributor may be coming. Shumpert is the best fit now... Next month who knows?

Regarding Dalembert, I feel those who are interested in a back-up center are pursuing Jermaine O'Neal first due to his play-offs experience. Once Jermaine O'Neal signs with the team, I feel we would see Dalembert getting picked immediately. Domino Effect.

Honestly wish we could get rid of James Jones but we can't seeing as he is one of LBJ's buddies, that Quincy Miller sounds interesting.

Quincy Miller was with Denver at the end of last season and showed he could defend on the perimeter, but he shot below 40% from the field. On the plus side, he is 6'10 and actually plays defense.

Given that whoever they sign will likely play less minutes than Lou Admunson, seems like this is a lot of discussion about not much until some "big name" gets waived.

I expect us to have 14 until the trade deadline.

I think Allen, O'Neal, Dalembert etc will be guys that sign after teams strike out on some trade targets. Other guys might get waived.

For now the Cavs aren't losing much by keeping flexibility.

Keep an eye on Tayshaun Prince situation in Boston. Cavs definitely interested in Prince if contract bought out by Celtics.

Immediate reaction is the Cavs need a big or a PG more than a combo forward with a similar skillset and potential role as Shawn Marion.
