Best Read on FA I have seen

Yes, but they didn't get out if the first round without him. And there is a chance he won't be 100% until the 2013-14 season.- bulls were fine without rose this year
Maybe. If money is #1 then we might not get him. We can go for other options here. I would be fine with Gee and Taylor at SF, both defend, both can hit an open three--Taylor would be an "older" rookie.- ak47 will get more money elsewhere
Another great opinion disguised as a fact. Tell me o wise one, why that team can't win. Great D, lots of shooters, play makers, and depth. Basically Rondo and KG took the Heat to 7 without much other help (Pierce was awful). I think Irving and KG would be better--and the rest of the team I put together is better also.- that team can't "win and win big"
I did say this was a pipe dream..but KG did play in Minnesota, so I would think if he could win--the city might not matter as much to him. And we would be one of the best fits for him. Name a few of these teams that "can win big", that actually have the cap space. We can offer him quite a bit of money on a short contract. And he would get to play with an elite PG that can shoot it. A KG/Irving pick and roll would be even deadlier than a KG/Rondo pick and roll.- kg will be offered contracts by teams that actually can "win and win big"
Another awesome opinion--way to state your case. Having good players doesn't matter, Cavs would crush--see what I did there.- positional "matchups" don't matter, heat would crush
We wouldn't be asking the rookies to do a ton of lifting and only one of the sophomores would be asked to do the heavy lifting and he is the one capable of doing it. This is a team built with both savy vets and young guys---and that would be on purpose--I want those young guys to learn from players like AV,KG, etc- having so many rookies/sophmores doesn't bode well for winning
Your opinion again. I do not agree with this.- cavs need another lottery pick (higher the better) next year for long-term success
Absolutely, life is short..why fuck around being average when you don't have to be. A team can be built many many many different ways. OKC would be the first team in a very long time to win primarily through lottery picks in the draft--and they still made some trades along the way and got very lucky with the Oden/Durant choice.- you are impatient
You guys actually want KG on this team...?
edit: not that he isn't a decent player at his age, but he is the exact kind of player the cavs SHOULDN'T be signing at this point in the rebuild. A very old player who could crash at any moment. Seems like an over-paid "veteran influence" guy to me. He's still a d-bag though.
I'm interested in Jarryd Bayless as a third guard, depending upon who the Cavs draft. He could probably swing between backup point with minutes as an undersized shooting guard next to Irving. I also see him as a buy low candidate after a few false starts to his career.
Bayless has talked a lot about wanting to get a chance to start, either in Toronto or elsewhere. I think the Cavs could use him if he is not able to get the situation he's looking for, but I think with Irving here, Cavs would be very low on his wishlist.
I have no doubt he wants a chance to start, I just don't know what his value is around the league. He didn't play much in Portland and New Orleans because of the quality veterans ahead of him, then last year he struggled to stay healthy. I thought this past season should have been his breakout year, but he only played 31 games. Now he is due 4.16 million as a qualifying offer.
Will Toronto pay that much for a guy who hasn't proven much? Will they let the still young 23 year old test the waters and hope that other teams are scared off? Nobody knows yet, but I will be keeping an eye on it.
