2012 NFL Draft Rumor Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I wouldn't be too terribly opposed to it. I don't think the needs fit the value for where we are. Two seconds and maybe more for moving down 11 spots. We have a lot of positions on our roster to fill and there's a refusal to use free agency to help address it.

I don't need 3 plays from a TV segment, you can watch every throw by both QBs from specific games on YouTube.

Oklahoma States offense and Baylors offense are clearly different, and it's a fact that really isn't debatable.

I didn't say they were the same, but they're very similar. You continue to say that Baylor's route tree is more complex, but you show no proof. What you're doing is being a hypocrite, and using the very same argument against Weeden that I used against RGIII.

Time and time again you bashed the offensive system argument, yet somehow it's supposed to apply to Weeden?

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that the Eagles and Rams are both "believed to be" interested in trading up to the Browns' pick at No. 4 overall.
The Plain Dealer gives the Browns a "decent chance" of trading out of No. 4. "At least three or four" clubs drafting in the top 20 have reportedly phoned Cleveland, with St. Louis and Philadelphia thought to be among them. The Eagles could be targeting Texas A&M QB Ryan Tannehill, while the Rams may be eyeing LSU CB Morris Claiborne, Alabama RB Trent Richardson, or Oklahoma State WR Justin Blackmon. One source told Browns beat reporter Mary Kay Cabot that the Chiefs "would probably not trade up" for Tannehill. It's believed no trade for the No. 4 pick would occur until draft day. Keep in mind the story comes out of Cleveland, and may have been leaked by the Browns to generate interest in the fourth pick.

WFNY/Grossi.... I'd kill myself if this happened. Heckert is just trying to help out his former team and not his current.

i'm sorry but this might be the dumbest line i've read/heard all day about this trade scenario (and that's saying something after hearing some of the arguments WKNR callers made...)

I'm having a hard time believing teams would get into a bidding war for Tannehill. Props to the Browns if they do.

It was a snap/sarcastic reaction.

Why? While I'd like to get more idk that I'd be that upset. H&h have shown a solid 2nd round draft record.

A bidding war for Tannehill would be great. You would assume that if St Louis wants to move up to get Claiborne/Richardson/Blackmon that's good and all but think of what Miami would do if they heard Philadelphia is in the mix to get Tannehill.

If Miami NEEDS Tannehill and we are engaging Philly in talks, Miami might become desperate. So desperate I could see them giving their 2 and next year's first in order to top Philly's offer.

Do we really consider 6th or 7th round picks busts? The chances of players making it in these rounds aren't high. At what round do we cut off the word bust?

I don't know if you're just trying to pick an argument, but I was trying to politely and clearly draw out the positives and negatives of the Browns' recent late round picks under H&H. You're either missing the salient point of my post, or you're ignoring it.

I said it's mediocre.

Given his age, it's not improving either.

Can you please post a scouting report that says his arm strength is mediocre? I would be interested to see it since every one I have read says the opposite.

forgive me if this has been posted yet, but here it is....

meanwhile Brock Osweiler sounds like an idiot...

From that video, Weeden doesnt seem to have the IT factor while Osweiler comes across very cocky and the last cocky QB was Gabbert and he was hyped to be 1st overall just like Osweiler was hyped up to be in the 1st round.
