2014-15 Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Knicks are literally bad at everything except when they play us. We're the only team they don't get destroyed on the boards against.

On another note, Tony Parker's defense has gotten so bad of late. They actually seem to play better with Joseph although I'm sure Parker will turn it up in the playoffs although they were better offensively and defensively with him off the floor last year.

Is it still cool to say the thunder should have kept harden over westbrook. Always laughed at those people

Westbrook is just everywhere...just a force of nature. OKC might wind up with two players with 28-30 PERs. I think the Heat had the highest PER pair in James and Wade with about 27 and 26.

Adams has beat up on Duncan and this Roberson was an incredible find. OKC easily has the best roster in the league with only a post scorer missing but that doesn't ma much when you have Westbrook and Durant.

Westbrook is so good.

Just a hurricane force out there. To me, as long as they're in the playoffs, OKC and the Spurs are still the teams to beat even though it wouldn't surprise me to see GSW, HOU, MEM, DAL, POR, or LAC upset teams.

Duncan, BTW, was a -34. BKREF has stats +/- stats going back to the 2000-2001 season. The worst he had ever been was -29 against the Lakers in 2003 and the Lakers again in 2010.

lol yah totally bro harden is so bad!

(i always laugh at people who make retarded statements based on one game, but hey!)

Portland and Houston would have been better choices for NBA Christmas than the LA Lakers and New York. Yuck. But whatever, the NBA knows how to work the markets.
do people actually watch the lakers anymore because they're fans? at this point i'm starting to wonder if people that tune in do so just to watch the great kobe bryant and lakers struggle horribly. no other reason to watch the games.

it is kinda funny that kobe ended up sitting out of the christmas day game though.

it'd be so great for the lakers to pull out a win here and move to 2-0 without kobe

on the kobe topic, i really hope the first returns for the asg are not indicative of the ultimate starting lineups. i know its about the fans but goodness seeing kobe start would be comically bad.

edit: also, ed davis doesn't get enough credit, and i am as guilty of this as anyone. he's legit. no idea why he's not playing more minutes.

Kenny Smith just pushed Shaq into the Christmas tree :chuckle:.

I've said this before, but these guys are hilarious.

It's been a while since I've seen Smith play (haven't watched him since those ATL playoff games) but dude has excellent defensive instincts.

Anyone worried about the Spurs? I highly doubt they miss the playoffs, but with Phoenix running off a bunch in a row and Oklahoma City picking it up they are now actually close enough to dropping out at that it could be talked about.
