Any thoughts to as why Daz Cameron is falling so much? I'm admittedly not an expert on these guys but I thought he was a sure thing top 10 pick.

Stunned the Yanks just passed him....I figured it was a money issue but if the Yankees passed maybe something else is going on

The draft is less about market size when talking about draft pool money.

For those who don't know the story behind Aikin.

Number one overall pick last year, the Astros completely botched the signing process and ended up losing out on his services.

Went to IMG Academy, threw 13 pitches and left his first start, undergoing Tommy John a week later.

High risk, incredibly high reward.

Aikin is likely the most talented pitcher in this draft, and they clearly believe the medicals will allow him to come back as he was.

I don't care what they do the rest of the draft, I'm already a fan of it. Guy will come in and be our 2 or 3 prospect right off the bat. Not many lefty starters come around with his kind of stuff. We also have to be one of the better medical researchers for the draft, so I feel comfortable that they expect him to recover from the TJ at 100%.
