10 teams make the playoffs in the MLB compared to 16 in the NBA, that's a huge difference.
If there were actually parity in the NBA then yeah, but there isn't. I have no idea how you can argue that there isn't parity in baseball, there simply isn't a decent argument to the contrary.
They are drastically different situations. A more similar comparison would be if the Royals took down the White Sox in a 7 game series. Nobody would care then.
I get it, you're anti-fun. I just have no problem with people celebrating their accomplishments.
I'm fairly new to baseball. Started watching like 5 years ago. But I'm super glad for the MLB postseason, especially as my NFL team sucks (Chiefs).baseball should end before football starts. Baseballs only purpose is to hold me (specifically me) over until football starts. Every single year I intently follow baseball up until football starts. I haven't watched an MLB playoff game since 2007 (excluding play in)

14-2 my goodness. I wish the format wasn't 2-3-2. I wanted to hear that raucous KC crowd one game from the WS.
I guess we will see how the Cubs-Mets game goes tonight but the Mets are looking pretty dangerous right now too. Pitchers are zoned in and they are hitting well (Murphy especially).
I'm not counting out the Blue Jays yet either, but I wonder how they will bounce back tomorrow. My heart stops everytime Donaldson, Bautista, or Encarnacion are up to bat. Always a threat for a homer and always a 3 run shot from being back in any game basically.
The games have been relatively close score wise. And "low" scoring compared to the ALCS, which is weird because the Royals have never been a high scoring team.Getting swept in the NLCS would be so Cubs.
I think I will absolutely love watching their fan base eat a young, exciting baseball team alive with these kinds of self loathing opinions. Makes the Cards fan in me a little more optimistic.Getting swept in the NLCS would be so Cubs.
