Andrew Wiggins

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
We're going to regret trading this guy.

Somehow, I think people are going to get over it:

Stolen from elsewhere:
Look, if we need to choose between Wiggins and Love, then yes, I take Love every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

I just can't believe that the Cavs are giving up Wiggins, considering that Love is a free agent next year and has basically said he won't sign an extension with anyone. Minnesota doesn't have leverage, but they are still getting one of the game's elite prospects.

We will not have the cap space to sign him outright next year without moving all of the players that people are whining about moving in this trade.

True and not true. The Haywood contract gives them to ability to do a S&T after the season. Bennett's contract plus Haywood's gives them the ability to take back $20.5M. Throw in a contract for about $1M and you get to the max level. Throw in a draft pick and you've got your S&T.

We will not have the cap space, but we will have the non-guaranteed contract in Haywood to facilitate a trade. Love would have the option of going to a team like the Lakers with Minnesota getting little or nothing back or going to the Cavs and getting something.

I doubt that happens. I think a trade will go down at the end of the month, though Wiggins may or may not be included. The Cavs will try everything they can to find a way for Minnesota to take something else. But if they can't come to a deal, they do have options.

I would rather have Wiggins over Love tbh. Gotta a soft spot for "homegrown" talent, especially over how these last 4 years have went.

He looks so happy he can hardly contain himself :chuckles:

The last 4 years have shown we are pretty mediocre at growing talent.

I think people liked Zeller before we traded him. Kyrie. Dion. Dellavedova. Tristan is the most mediocre and he gets a double-double on average. Bennett and Karasev would be incompletes at this point if both were here. Had we had a coach other than Mr. Potatohead last year, development might have been better.

I'd say the Cavs have done better than average over the past four years.

Feel so bad for him. Just finished watching his interview on ESPN and the interviewer was really...idk. I want to say he was acting like a douche but he was just asking the questions everyone was already thinking. Some things are better left unsaid though, especially to a 19 year old rookie that doesn't have much experience being on National Television. The whole thing was awkward as hell.

I wish Andrew luck in Minnesota though (Assuming this "proposed" deal goes down). Seems like a really good guy and I'll be following Minnesota closely to see how him and my boy Zach LaVine develop. Team has a lot of potential.

To be fair, home grown talent is the reason the last 4 years happened. We had our home grown talent leave.

Its about winning the championship this year immediately.

You think?

Wiggins will be included...

I didn't just dislike it. I thought it to be HORSE SHIT.
ESPN just had to go "there", because you know how it makes Cleveland look.
Even more so, I already stated how much I dislike him being part of this trade. Screw giving them the farm. They're the one with everything to lose.
