Lakers likely won't have enough cap to sign all three as free agents while remaining competitive year to year.
I also don't think Kyrie ends up here next season. If those two are going to reunite, IMHO, it'd be in Cleveland after Kyrie's next contract.
Right now it’s obvious what AD, Kyrie, and LeBron want to happen.
Whether that happens or not is up for debate. What is happening is the foundation for a Kyrie, LeBron, and AD “superteam”.
What is known is that these 3 want to pair up.
Gilbert was used and abused. He gave LeBron absolute power here thinking their meeting meant their past was squashed when in reality LeBron would only use Gilbert’s past to haunt him and an excuse to bolt after trading Kyrie.
Gilbert bent to LeBron hand over foot and he still called him out on “The Barber Shop” and said he couldn’t forgive him after the letter.
That’s because he used Gilbert to build his team, win a ship in Cleveland, improve his legacy, and then retire a Hollywood star all while getting Clutch paid on Gilberts dime. Remember him saying “Sign Tristan already”?
The championship in Cleveland meant nothing but a “GOAT” conversation topic to LeBron which he said himself in an interview. The league is a farce. LeBron is a farce. The only people suffering are a shit ton of small market teams who’s favorite players are joining LeBron. This is why LeBron worked so hard representing the players during the union debates.
It’s all set up now that players who want to maximize their self worth will play for the biggest markets.
It’s an abomination.
